Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this DeeMaxx 18-inch long, braided hydraulic brake hose. This flexible braided brake line is going to act as part of your trailer's hydraulic braking system. It connects to your hydraulic brake actuator to your trailer brakes when used with additional lines, T's and fittings. And of course, those additional fittings and lines are sold separately. And the flexible design is going to make this hose perfect for use with your foldaway trailer tongues, disc brakes and torsion axles.

This braided stainless steel hose has a Teflon core that's going to withstand pressure better than rubber. So your brakes are going to be more responsive. They're gonna respond better to different temperatures than rubber, which can expand due to heat and it's gonna be less likely to get a puncture from debris. So this stainless steel hose meets the Department of Transportation Standards, and as you've been noticing here, we have 3/16 of an inch stainless steel male inverted flare fittings on both ends. They are going to resist corrosion and they're stronger than brass to reduce splitting.

So this is gonna be ideal for boat trailers. And let me see if I can line this up with my tape measure here real quick just to confirm that measurement with you. So lining up my tape measure here, we'll do it this way, and then lay this across here. So from end to end, as you can see, we are sitting right at.. line my tap measure up here.
