Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement center section for the CURT OEM-style gooseneck trailer hitch. This is going to replace the center section for your CURT OEM-style gooseneck trailer hitch. And on your screen for your reference, I'm including a photo along with our item number of that gooseneck trailer hitch that this center section is going to fit. This has a gross towing weight of 32,500 pounds and the included 2 and 5/16 inch pop-in ball is going to fit securely and is easy to insert and remove.

To remove, you're just going to lift and turn this integrated lever to unlock, and that's going to allow you to remove this ball. And by the way, this does also include a rubber plug to insert into that hole when this is not in use, when you have the ball removed. So that's going to keep that clean and free from debris. And then when you're ready to replace the ball and use it, you're just going to drop that back into place, turn that lever again, drop it in, and then it is going to be locked in place. As you no doubt know, this ball locks with that built-in ball bearing system.

So very simple and very easy to use. And this also includes 5/8 inch thick spring loaded safety chain hookups, and those are built in. This is a sturdy steel construction that you're familiar with, with this corrosion resistant a-coat finish. This includes all of the hardware that you are going to need to install this, along with the center locator, trim shield and set of instructions that you see here. And this center section is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace.

It is directly from CURT, so you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of your original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that.
