Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this half-inch by 20 size lock nut for the half-inch diameter shackle bolt on a double-eye spring. Now, this half-inch by 20 size lock nut is designed to be used with the shackle bolt to mount a double-eye leaf spring to your front or rear hanger on your trailer suspension. It is designed to work with the half-inch diameter shackle bolt. We do sell that checkable separately on our website.

It's part number ABS 94FR and it's usually listed on this product page as a related product. But here's the . I happened to pull that part number, and this is what it is and the lock nut would just screw on the end there to hold your leaf spring in place.If you notice on the lock nut, it does have a zinc plating to it for corrosion resistance. It is for a quantity of one lock nut. And again, the size on this is a half-inch diameter by 20 threads per inch.
