ramp hook

This S-curved ramp is perfect for loading a motorcycle, wheel barrow, and other in-line, wheeled equipment into your trailer or truck bed. It has a curved design that makes it easier to load and unload your equipment when compared to a standard ramp. It's constructed of lightweight aluminum so it's easy to set up, and when you're done loading you can fold it in half and slide it to the side of your equipment for easy storage.

S-Curve for Easy Loading

loading

The ramp has an S-curve that makes loading and unloading your cargo easier when compared with a standard straight ramp. The curved shape lowers the load angle where the ramp meets the ground and where it meets your trailer or truck bed tailgate. With a more level loading area you don't have to push as hard to get your object up the ramp, and you don't have such a steep angle when unloading. This gives you better leverage for maneuvering your equipment. In addition, it will cause less wear on your vehicle's engine than driving up a steep slope, and it helps prevent low clearance vehicles from bottoming out at the high end of the ramp when loading and unloading.

Continuous Tread Offers Superior Traction

base

The grooved-rubber treads on each slat provide excellent traction for your tires. The slats are attached to the ramp side by side with no spaces in between so your tires always have grip when they are on the ramp. There are also small triangular cutouts in each slat that allow water and grime to drain.

Sloped, Plated Ends

ramp hook

The ramp has a large, sloped plate on each end. This provides a spacious platform for your tire when rolling your cargo onto the ramp and onto your loading surface. The plate also provides stability for your equipment when you're rolling it on or off your truck bed.

Cam-Buckle Straps Secure Ramp to Trailer

ramp hook

A cam-buckle strap is included to prevent the ramp from sliding away from your truck bed or trailer deck. Simply attach the strap end with the hook to your truck or trailer, and wrap the looped end of the strap around the ramp. Tighten the strap to remove slack.

Folding Design

base

The ramp is hinged in the middle so you can fold it in half for compact storage. Simply lift up on the middle section to collapse it.

Video Transcript for CargoSmart Arched Loading Ramp Set Review 3483086

Today we're going to be taking a look at the CargoSmart Arched Loading Ramp set. These ramps are 90 inches long and 12 inches wide. They offer a 750 pound capacity per ramp and are available either as a single or as a kit. These CargoSmart ramps are gonna be an excellent alternative to steel and solid aluminum ramps that we're used to using in the past. The polymer design that we have on the tread plates gives excellent grip and traction. So, even wet muddy weather is not gonna be a issue getting our rig on and off. These have a 750 pound weight capacity each.

We sell them as a two pack or as a single. So, if you've got just a bike you need to get loaded that'll work for you there. Or, if you're using four-wheeled or three-wheeled equipment we'll have an application to fit what you're looking for. Now, with that kind of capacity ATVs, UTVs, little tractors, things like that you really shouldn't have any issues getting these loaded and unloaded. The ramps themselves are gonna be 12 inches wide, so that's gonna take care of most size tires that we're gonna be running up and off of these ramps. And, they're 90 inches in length.

While that's not such an important thing on a low trailer like this, you'll really appreciate that once you start loading into trucks or trailers that are higher. By having those be a little longer our angle's not gonna be so steep, it'll be a little less dramatic, should be a little bit easier to get in and out.The S-curve design allows for different types of vehicles, even real low clearance type vehicles to come up and on. You can see it's low, it's not at such a straight angle. And then as we get closer to our trailer it also kind of evens out a little bit. It reduces that angle and it's gonna make it much easier to use. This hybrid design of ramp is becoming very very popular.

We have full aluminum construction on all of our runners on the plates that meet our truck and the plates that meet the ground. The hinge itself is gonna be steel but the actual runners here are a polymer material. This allows for them to design in excellent traction patterns. And these also don't tend to dent or deform like what we see with some of the other aluminum ramps. After use they start to get some sag in them.

And, with this we're just not gonna have that issue at all. Now, here on the backside of the ramp you can see we've got an angled piece of aluminum that comes down, makes contact with the ground, really helps to smooth this transition out so we don't have to worry about getting to the ramp and then trying to get up and on it.Now, when getting our ramp set up for use, whether we're gonna be on a trailer or on a truck, we want to take our contoured section, and this lip we're gonna place right up on the edge of either the tailgate, the bed, or the trailer. Once that's on that lip we want to slide that all the way forward, ensure that we've got good contact with that down section. And then we're gonna use the provided strap. This is gonna help to ensure that our ramps don't slide rearward on us, especially as we're driving on and off. And, I really think it's important with trucks. We'll get that nice and snug. As we're going on we won't have to worry about these moving at all. When it's time to put up our ramps, instead of having to store the full length, these do fold in half just as you see the one sitting there. Just gonna lift up on that middle section and allow it to collapse. These are stackable, fairly easy just to stack one right on top of the other. And then something I like to do is just take my strap, go around one to the other, it's gonna hold everything nice and tightly together. At that point you almost pack them together, although I think two of them together you'll need two hands to carry them. And that's gonna complete our look at the CargoSmart Arched Center-Fold Loading Ramp.

These are awesome ramps! I got these ramps for my husband to use on his food trailer and he gets so many compliments on these. Other food trucks and food trailer folks are constantly asking what kind of ramps these are.

Excellent, sturdy product. Performs as expected. Ordering and prompt delivery process went without a hitch. If you are in the market for folding loading ramps, you will not be disappointed with these.

I like the ramp itself, BUT; I thought the fact that there were NOT two ramps priced was deceiving to the customer. You have to order two and pay for each individual ramp. ($[XXX] for one and upon receiving only one, I called and order the second for $[XXX], for a total of $[XXX]) You can’t use on ramp. The add should be for two ramps and the price equivalent. That was one point from a five star rating. The other point is the price. These aren’t top notch ramps, ( that’s not to say they aren’t sufficient to load and off load), but they are plastic tread over the metal frame work, which during shipment was chipped. It didn’t interfere with the working of the ramp but it shouldn’t have been this way “new”. For these two reasons I deducted two stars. I would recommend these, but would definitely shop further to ensure I couldn’t find better. (I think I may have stopped looking to soon.

  • Where Is The CargoSmart S-Curve Loading Ramp 3483086 Made?
I reached out to my contact at CargoSmart and the CargoSmart S-Curve Loading Ramp # 3483086 you were looking at is made in either India or China. If you would prefer an option that is made here in the USA I recommend the Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set # 325-GH-R84. This includes two ramps with a combined 6000lb capacity and due to them being made out of aluminum they are pretty light weight at 35lbs each. I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.

  • What Ramp Do You Recommend for Pets Who Need to Enter and Exit the Vehicle?
I have a creative solution for the issue. Instead of using the 24x62 etrailer Cargo Carrier to help your dog exit your 2021 Toyota Highlander, I recommend the CargoSmart S-Curve Loading Ramp # 3483086. The reason why I recommend the CargoSmart S-Curve is because it will allow you to complete floor-to-vehicle extension and it also does not require a trailer hitch to set up. This will allow you to use the ramp either in the rear hatch of the vehicle or the front/back seats at a gradual incline....
