This S-curved ramp is perfect for loading a motorcycle, wheel barrow, and other in-line, wheeled equipment into your trailer or truck bed. It has a curved design that makes it easier to load and unload your equipment when compared to a standard ramp. Integrated LEDs light the runway so you can see while loading equipment at night. It's constructed of lightweight aluminum so it's easy to set up, and when you're done loading you can fold it in half and slide it to the side of your equipment for easy storage.
The ramp has an S-curve that makes loading and unloading your cargo easier when compared with a standard straight ramp. The curved shape lowers the load angle where the ramp meets the ground and where it meets your trailer or truck bed tailgate. With a more level loading area you don't have to push as hard to get your object up the ramp, and you don't have such a steep angle when unloading. This gives you better leverage for maneuvering your equipment. In addition, it will cause less wear on your vehicle's engine than driving up a steep slope, and it helps prevent low clearance vehicles from bottoming out at the high end of the ramp when loading and unloading.
There are integrated, battery-operated LED light strips on the right and left sides of the ramp. These bright LEDs provide plenty of light on the runway so you can see your cargo as you load and unload at night. Magnetic switches on the hinges activate the LEDs automatically when ramp is opened and shut them off when the ramp is closed. The ramp includes 8 AA batteries.
The grooved-rubber treads on each slat provide excellent traction for your tires. The slats are attached to the ramp side by side with no spaces in between so your tires always have grip when they are on the ramp. There are also small triangular cutouts in each slat that allow water and grime to drain.
The ramp has a large, sloped plate on each end. This provides a spacious platform for your tire when rolling your cargo onto the ramp and onto your loading surface. The plate also provides stability for your equipment when you're rolling it on or off your truck bed.
A cam-buckle strap is included to prevent the ramp from sliding away from your truck bed or trailer deck. Simply attach the strap end with the hook to your truck or trailer, and wrap the looped end of the strap around the ramp. Tighten the strap to remove slack.
The ramp is hinged in the middle so you can fold it in half for compact storage. Simply lift up on the middle section to collapse it.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Carmarthen Arch Centerfold loading ramp with LED lights. These ramps are 90 inches long and 12 inches wide, they offer a 750 pound capacity per ramp and are available either as a single or as a kit.Now, these ramps are going to be an excellent way to load and unload many different pieces of equipment, ATVs, UTVs, small garden tractors, things like that. They have a 750 pound capacity per ramp. So, you can use them in a two kit, maybe you need a third for a center tire, but all in all, they're really good solution. They're also lit, that's going to provide great visibility at nighttime. That's something we don't see out of a lot of ramps.
Oftentimes is you're coming up to a ramp, your headlights get to a point to where they're no longer shining down where you can see them, so this is going to fill in that gap and be sure you get your tires in line each and every time you try to load up.The S-curve that they've built into the ramp helps us out in a couple of places, where we're coming on and off the trailer, you can see our angle isn't as steep as what we see out of a lot of ramps. And as it turns back the other way, our approach isn't as steep. So, anything that has a low ground clearance, these are going to work out really well with the ramps being 12 inches wide, they're going to work out with any type of tire really. There's plenty of room for that tire to rest down on top. The thing I like is the 90 inches in length.
Those are longer than what we see out of some loading ramps and basically, while it's not all that important on a lower trailer like this, high trailers or pickup trucks, having that 90 inches is going to give us a nice smooth angle so it's not so steep like what we're used to seeing with others.Now those LED light strips are going to run the full length of the ramp, so we should have great visibility trying to load items up in the evening. Now I really like the design of these ramps being hybrid. We've got the aluminum base frame, we've got steel hinges, but we have our polymer tread plates. As you can see, they've designed these with significant traction in mind so, even dealing with wet, dealing with mud, dealing with snow and ice, really shouldn't have any issues, getting our items loaded. Now to make it much easier to get up on the ramps you can see the arch plate here, that allows us to roll up and onto that transition nice and easy, rather than coming to an abrupt stop, needing to hop up and on.Now to activate those LED's, you can see our magnetic switches here and here as those get in close proximity, they complete the circuit and allow it to be powered.
Here we're going to have the box. This is going to contain our batteries principle. It's going to power the system for us. Now, since we are using LED lighting, it's going to be a very, minimal draw on our battery, you shouldn't have to worry about replacement for quite some time.Now let's get our ramp set. We'll want the arch in the ramp facing our truck or trailer.
Then we'll just need to extend it out. You'll notice as we get fully extended, the lights come on. We've got our nice long aluminum lip here, we went to butt this right up against our trailer, that's going to prevent any sliding forward, and then we've got our safety strap here, this we want to hook in underneath our truck or trailer, whatever we're going to be using and just pull it to cinch. That's going to prevent our ramp from sighting rearward causing us issues. And that's going to complete our look at the CargoSmart Arched Centerfold loading ramps with LED lights.
