Low-Profile Cable Tire Chains For 2022 Ram 1500 With 275/70R18 Tires

I have a 2022 RAM 1500 REBEL. My owners manual says this trim of the truck is Not Chainable. Its not clear to me why since there is significant clearance between the tires and the body of the truck the truck has a 1 inch factory lift installed . Not sure what I would do if meeting a situation on the highway where chains are required. Wondering would you have a low profile cable chain or perhaps a snow sock that would work ? The truck has 275/70R18 tires

There is a Class S compatible cable tire chain that fits the 275/70R18 tires on your 2022 Ram 1500, from Glacier chains:

- Glacier Cable Tire Chains # PW3029C

These require 0.59" (15 mm) between the tire's sidewall (or any other obstruction) and your truck, and 1.46" (37 mm) between the top of the tire tread and your wheel well. To ensure they have a consistently snug fit I highly recommend tensioners, the Glacier Multi-Arm Tire Chain Tensioners for 16" to 19" Rims # PW105.
