Tire Chains for Infrequent Use on a 2012 Chevy Suburban with 275/55-20 Tires
Question:
I have a 2012 chev suburban and am looking for tire chains. Tires currently on it are: Michelin Defender XLT 275/55R20 Do you have the chains I will need for this vehicle? I will likely use these chains only a few times so dont need anything made for heavy use. What is your suggestion, also do I need chains for all 4 tires or just 2? Please advise.

For infrequent use I usually recommend cable style chains like # TC2028 with tensioners # TCMA3 to keep the cables tight and centered. Cables also require little clearance and cost less than traditional chains. You would only need to have them on the rear wheels of your 2012 Chevy Suburban and 275/55-20 tires.
If you wanted to go with regular chains then I recommend # TC2327 because they offer good coverage and require little clearance (Class S chains). I have linked some videos of these chains/cables for you.
