Still performing well

I think the Kurt hedge was very good and it was easy to install. The wire was a different program but I got through it and everything works just fine. Thank you much for the good products.

by:

Excellent product! Hitch and wiring kit. Installation was a breeze. Works great! Shipping was stupid fast! Will buy all my towing products from Etrailer!! Awesome company.

2018 Ford Edge

It is an awesome hitch! My brother in law helped me install it on my wife’s 2018 Ford Edge Sport. It was really pretty straight forward and fit perfectly! I really like that you can hardly see it at all, that’s why we chose the draw tight.
Thanks Etrailer, y’all made it so easy !

by:

The trailer hitch went on perfectly. All of the instructions were right on.

2018 Ford Edge

This hitch seemed like a very heavy duty well made unit. It fit very well. My only minor suggestion would be to make the rectangular washers a little skinnier. They were a little difficult to get through the slot. I was impressed with the pull wires which made the fasteners very easy to get in place. I plan on mostly using this hitch for a bike rack and have no doubt it will be a great match.

Still happy with hitch.

by:

Bolted up nice and somewhat easy! Another great buy from etrailer! Thank you

by:

Everything’s great I just wish they would’ve shipped it a little quicker when they received the order installation was very good little bit more difficult because of the vehicle but I won

by:

I am disappointed and the fact that a critical component of the rear bumper, heat shield and lower bumper stabilizer, cannot be reattached after this hitch is mounted. This leaves that rear lower bumper cover loose and floppy, which down the road is going to be vibrating. There are electronic components in that area for the lift gate that probably should be protected, it's likely the reason why the heat shield is there.. Had I known in advance that this was going to be this way I would have ordered a different style, but that was not made clear. This is an important factor and should definitely be pointed out to customers who buy this product.

I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the installation of the hitch. I checked and it is the only hitch that requires removing the plastic panel completely for the 2017 Ford Edge Sport. The other hitches such as part # C13234 only require trimming.

by:

Perfect fit

Awesome hitch. Did require a second set of hands to mount around the gas tank

by:

This is the second hitch I.ve ordered from etrailer. I.ve had no issues with either of them.
One suggestion......while there was no damage to the hitch, the box is arrived in was pretty banged up.

Ford put today my hitch , Happy , Thanks

2016 Ford Edge

Excellent product, I waited a few weeks to review so I could get my initial impressions. I have an Edge Sport and like others have mentioned it has a different rear bumper than the other trim levels of the edge. The only reason I cannot give this product 5 stars is once the heat shield is removed your rear bumper does seem loose. I wish there was a product that could work with the hitch and bumper to provide more support to the rear bumper. If you have any other trim level edge this shouldn't be an issue though. I chose this particular hitch over the other options due to it being mainly hidden under the bumper, to me this is a much better look than having a bar beneath your bumper. I did take the hitch and the wiring harness to a local hitch installer to have it professionally installed so I cannot speak to the skills or time needed other than it took the shop a total of two hours to complete the wiring and hitch install.

by:

Returning customer, so not real surprised at the quality of the Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch that I was unpacking. All hardware for installation was present in the package (we’ve all been there) with adequate instructions; however I [watched video] it…well my wife and I installed it in the garage problem free. So there you have it. Would recommend!!

by:

Love it. This is like my 4th trailer hitch that I purchased from you. Quick delivery. Excellent service!!!

by:

Does exactly what I need!

by:

Works great. Got it mainly for hauling bikes on a rack. No problems at alk

by:

The installation instructions were very easy to follow. The installation was seamless. I am very pleased with the outcome. I would buy this again.

by:

Great design & construction & not too hard to install. I love how the look is not too bulky looking like most hitch receivers look so all you see is the receiver it self five stars

by:

I have never experienced any customer service quite like this. Super fast delivery and great online communication and tracking. I have already recommended etrailer to others.

by:
Ford Edge

Not too difficult to install. I didn't even have to jack up my Edge to do the work.

by:
2018 Ford Edge

Instructions videos help a lot!

by:

Easy professional install. Looks like it is part of the original car from the factory rather than after market add on. No need to make any cuts to the car for the install. Great customer service and extremely fast order processing.

by:

The hitch is doing great. Glad I bought it

Top quality and easy to install.

  • Curt vs. etrailer Trailer Hitch For 2024 Ford Edge
One difference exists between the Curt and etrailer trailer hitches for your 2024 Ford Edge, and that is the finish. The etrailer hitch has a matte black finish, while the Curt hitch has a glossy black finish, so you can choose which you prefer. The hitches that fit your '24 Edge are the following part numbers: - etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e36RR - Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C78KR The matte black finish does hide those inevitable scuffs and scratches better than the glossy finish,...

  • Do You Have to Remove Heat Shield for Trailer Hitch on 2018 Lincoln MKX
Yes, the heat shield will need to be removed on a 2018 Lincoln MKX for the installation of a trailer hitch. It's the same for the etrailer part # e36RR, Curt part # C78KR, and Draw-Tite part # 75234. I recommend the etrailer hitch due to the matte finish which blends in better with the underbody paneling on the vehicle. It also features a bolt-on install and hidden design. The removal of the heat shield won't have an affect on the vehicle.

I am happy to help you setup your 2020 Lincoln Nautilus for towing. You are going to need a receiver hitch, wiring harnesses with a 7-Way connector, brake controller, and a ball mount. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Item # C78KR. This is a custom fit receiver that attaches to your vehicle through preexisting holes and requires no cutting or drilling into your frame. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 675 lbs. The Curt receiver...

It features a bolt-on fit with no drilling required. It also has a hidden design so only the receiver tube will be shown. • Trailer Hitch Comparison and Recommendation for 2019 Lincoln Nautilus
For your 2019 Lincoln Nautilus we have the Draw Tite hitch part # 75234 and the Curt # C78KR. The Draw Tite is the winner in my opinion. Like the Curt option, only the hitch opening hangs down below the bumper which gives you a more concealed look. However, the Draw-Tite hitch is considerably lower priced.
