The Curt Hitch # C11111 will not require drilling for installation on your 2012 Infiniti M37, however there will be some trimming of the underbody panel prior to installation. This trimming would not be visible from the rear of your vehicle. This trimming is necessary to allow the receiver opening to pass through this panel. According to the installation instructions, the Hopkins Agility Brake Controller you mentioned can only be mounted between + 70 and - 20 degrees of the direction of travel, as shown in the diagram I provided. Installing the controller in any other orientation will cause the accelerometer in the unit to malfunction, resulting in poor or no braking.

There is some trimming required on the 2010 Infiniti G37 coupe to install Curt trailer hitch # C11493. There is an area approximately 1-3/4 inches by 2 inches that will need to be trimmed off the bumper fascia. I spoke with my contact at Curt. There have been only 2 or 3 cases where customers with the same vehicle have found that the plate in question is welded on. Infiniti seems to have welded only some models but not all.
The solution that other customers have come up with is to use a pry bar to push that panel back and forth to break the welds.
