Installation Of P3 Brake Controller On 2014 Infiniti QX60 With 7-Way Trailer Connector And Tow Pkg

Hello, I have an 2014 Infiniti QX60 AWD, comes with factory installed tow package, with all the wiring harness, hitch and a 7 way trailer connector. What else do I need to connect this controller to my vehicle?? Thanks,

To install the Prodigy P3, part # 90195 on your Infiniti QX60, you will just need to run the wires in the following manner.

Attach the Blue wire from the trailer connector to the blue wire at the back of the brake controller. Then attach the black wire from the brake controller to the positive battery post using a 20-amp circuit breaker like part # 9506P.

Then run the white wire from the brake controller to the negative battery post.

The red wire needs to be attached to the stoplight switch on the vehicle, typically found at the top of the brake pedal. You can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and find the wire that only shows power when the brake pedal is pressed.
