Raise Your Trailer's Ride Height

Newer trucks are being built to ride higher. This means that your trailer may have to be raised to match. If the two aren't the same height at the connection point, the nose of your trailer or RV is going to ride too high. This will put too much weight on the rear of your trailer, which can result in poor handling and may eventually cause damage.

The Correct Track helps to solve this problem by lifting your trailer or RV 1-1/4" or 2-1/4", which provides a level towing setup for taller trucks. This added lift is also great for 5th-wheel trailers that might have trouble clearing tall pickup bed side rails.

Correct Misaligned Axles and Suspension

If the tires on your RV or trailer are wearing down quickly and prematurely, there's a good chance your axles are out of alignment. Driving with misaligned axles for long periods of time will shorten the life of your tires, reduce your gas mileage, and can make it difficult to steer your rig. Misaligned axles are often caused by an imbalance of weight, which can result from simply using the slide-out on your 5th wheel or having heavy appliances positioned on one side.

The Correct Track integrates into your trailer's suspension system and shifts the axles back into proper alignment. This kit allows you to adjust the axle alignment by 1/4" increments for a properly aligned suspension. It will correct your RV or trailer's alignment whether the axles need to be moved forward or backward.

ETrailer is the best, but these things took TIME to figure out and get the axles aligned correctly! They did the job, lifting the RV up from the tires, and no more tires scraping the fender well on rough/bumpy roads. Have 2 people and a weekend available to get the kit installed correctly and aligned. Tires are running great with even wear. Thank you!

So, far even with chug holes and some rough interstate pavement, no more tire rubbing on the upper part of my self-made wheel wells. The Lift Kit has worked great!

This product has helped us tremendously because of where we live. We are in mountainous country my driveway is hard to get into and this lift kit and the shock absorbing equalizer kit has made our trailer awesome. I would recommend it to everyone that has a bumper pull fifth wheel double or triple axle trailer you will love it

I have not installed the kit yet. The ordering process was easy and had plenty of information to make sure it was what I needed. The delivery date estimated during the order process was not accurate. The delivery date during the order process stated it to be the end of April. A few days after the date had passed I received a notification saying the order was being gathered and was expected to ship May 1. I received the order on May 6. This is not a huge issue, but with porch pirates these days, I make plans based on the stated date when ordering.
*** That being said, I have always had great great experience with eTrailer and is my go to for specialty and towing items. I am grateful for the detailed answers, videos and feedback they have for their customers. ***

Horrible product.. from the beginning I had problems with delivery. they changed the delivery date 3 times. when the product arrived at my house I was not present because I expected to use it before. and when using the product I realized that if it would not work. I took it in for installation and the mechanic tried several ways to find a safe position for it but . when I finished the installation and the weight of the trailer came down, the parts with the holes rotated and that brought me a loss of 2 tires. because they started to rotate crooked! In the end, completely dissatisfied with the product. and in the end I never knew what day I received the product and then I never knew when I would have the opportunity to return the product since I felt harmed by the situation! when calling the store they said my refund window closed 2 days ago! very strange. So far completely unsatisfied

It is very unusual for the holes to rotate once this is installed. The manufacturer will be in contact to discuss this with you.

I was having a problem with the brakes on one wheel failing (magnet/actuator), even after replacing the entire brake assembly. Upon measuring the axle alignment to the hitch ball I discovered that the axles were out of alignment. This kit corrected the problem and I am no longer having brake problems, or excessive tire wear. The trailer tracks much better. I am very satisfied with the product. Installation on two axles took about 3-4 hours.

After 2 years and 3300 miles, product is still working as expected. Completely solved the problem of tire wear, and excessive brake heating which lead to brake failure. Very happy with product.

by:

This kit made a huge difference in the height of my 5th wheel, it is now level and also gives my rear leveling jack some extra clearance. Pretty easy to install, the first one will take a little bit of time, but the reat will go faster. I also installed the heavy duty shackles and the Road Armor Equalizers. This all made my RV ride so much better!

by:

Price was good and it was in stock.
I
was confused why it took four days to ship when it was pulled the second day?
I ended up not being able to use it before I left on a six-week excursion.
Looking forward to getting back home and installing the product.

To be honest it looks like there was a hiccup when the order was sent to the warehouse. We did not have the kit on hand to ship right way and needed to wait til our next shipment came in which was just in a few days.

by: 06/11/2022

Used this to lift my fifth wheel 2 inches to reduce the nose height condition that is common with newer trucks. Not as easy as changing a tire though.

by:

Product is great. I just wish the instructions addressed tandem and triple axle applications. And some actual pictures of installation would be even better.

by:

Do not purchase. These did not work at all and I had to remove them.

I am sorry to hear that this kit did not work out for you. I would like to know more about your experience with them and why it had to be removed.

by:

I can’t review the product since installation is not scheduled until Friday. I have ordered fro eTrailer because I like their service, customer service and quick ship and deliver.

by:

Installing this kit on my travel trailer corrected my dual axle alignment problem which was wearing the inside of the left rear tire. It was easy to install, easy to understand, and very adjustable.

by:

Pretty simple to do with great benefits down the road.

by:

The product looks great and seems very well made. I have not been able to install on my own and I have tried with two different shops to install this system on my RV and they will not.

by:

I have not had a chance to install them yet, but they seem to be exactly what I need.

Built heavy duty ,my axles are in line for once, opted to lift my rig at 2 1/4 " it sits level with my 17 dodge 3500. I like this kit better than the lippert kit. This kit is like it was made for my suspension.

by:

The kit came exactly as described and works as indicated. The shipping was stunningly fast but that might have just been my location. Either way everything was delivered quickly and as described.
I am not sure if I did not read the part about it not working with my Dexter equalizers but I had to modify the kit considerably to get it to fit with my system. The equalizers rubbed on the plates and the plate with the holes extended to far down and rubbed on the rubber of the equalizer. I made it work for me. So far so good.

by:

I needed to raise the height of my Keystone Laredo because my new truck was too high for a level pull. And it also allowed me to correct a tire wear that I had for years, due to an alignment issue.

  • How To Lift a Pop-Up Camper
I do have several options to lift a trailer but in order to proceed I would need to know what type of axle you have, leaf spring or torsion. Furthermore, if it is a leaf spring axle then are the leaf springs under or over the axle tube and if it is a torsion axle who makes it and what is the weight capacity. I do have an option for you but the reason your trailer dropped in overall height is because you removed the center hanger extension which is used in the Lippert Correct Track. In order to then go back to the ride height you had before the equalizers were replaced you would need to re-install the center hanger extension. That said, the Lippert Correct Track was actually discontinued by Lippert due to issues they were having with the system so now would be a good time to get rid of the problem...

  • Tandem Axle Lift Kit for 2014 Heartland Big Horn 37QB
It's pretty common to install an over-under kit on the axles to gain more height from the trailer. Some call this flipping the axle but since axles are bowed they can't actually rotate 180 degrees. Now that said we have lift kits like the # RR23QX which can give you a lift of up to 2-1/4 inches regardless of if the axles have been "flipped" or not so either way this will give you additional lift and won't be quite as involved as an over-under kit.

  • Can I Use the Tandem Axle Lift Kit with a MORryde Suspension Enhancement
The short answer to this question is that-yes- the parts included in the MORryde kit will work just fine. The Tandem Axle Lift Kit # RR23QX simply elongates the hangers on your trailer to provide the 2-1/4" of lift. Because it's only creating new hangers and the wet bolts in the kit you're installing only go on the shackles, they're going to work just fine. With that being said, you may need longer bolts when installing the equalizers onto the hangers, but these are not wet bolts.

You might be able to raise the pin box in the frame it attaches to on your trailer to lower the nose as well. As long as you can maintain at least 6 inches of clearance there while the trailer is level you'd be good. We don't like to recommend too much of a lift on the trailer as that raises the center of gravity considerably which could cause handling issues.

Using an Axle Flip Kit # K71-385-00 and mounting the axle below the leaf spring will raise your trailer the 3" of the tube and thickness of your leaf spring pack. So with your leaf spring pack being 2-1/2" thick a 5-1/2" lift is going to be a lot more than what you are looking for.
