This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This tire has a 1-year No Excuses Guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
This radial ply tire from Westlake is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation.
The standard tread on this tire has solid, continuous ribs, and there are very few sipes (or thin grooves) cut into the rubber. This tire is designed for use on trailers, so it doesn't require the level of traction that would be needed on a vehicle that is braking or steering.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this Goodyear Endurance ST 225, 75, R15, Radio Trailer Tire in a low range E, mounted on this 15 inch silver modular steel wheel with the six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly's ideal for RVs, campers and trailers and we'll start with the wheel. They use a sturdy steel wheel, has the modular design and when we say modular design, that's the design, if you notice, that has all the round holes that go all the way around the wheel. They put a silver powder coat finish over an e-coat primer on this wheel, helps resist rust and corrosion. Now where the lug nuts tightened down, your stud holes here, they are beveled.
That's designed to help keep your wheels securely in place on your trailer hub, eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. Now the tire itself that's mounted on this, it is a Goodyear Endurance radial tire. It is constructed with double steel belts, triple polyester plies, for a nice long life. They do use a nylon tread firming belt overlay around the tire to help prevent tread separation. And on the inside of the tire, they use an inner liner that's made of a halobutyl rubber construction, which reduces air loss.
It is a radial tire, so it's great for highway use and this is a Goodyear endurance tire and it is made in the USA. That does use the automotive grade tread channels on it, which will channel the water away from the tire, to improve traction during wet snow or icy conditions. Uses Dura-wall technology to reinforce the sidewall with a rubber compound to prevent cuts and punctures. And it even has a raised scuff guard on the sidewall, provides additional protection against curb damage. Now on each shoulder, they do use decoupling grooves on the shoulder to minimize irregular tread wear.
Keeps the tire cool while you're towing. And this is an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer Tire. Has the sturdy side wall so that you can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on any other vehicles.
This whole assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. The tire itself meets federal motor vehicle safety standard specs and the wheel meets SAEJ 1204 standards. If you notice, this wheel does not come with the center cap. We do sell those separately if you need one. If you do get a center cap, you do one order one for this wheel that is 4.29 inch diameter. That's the pilot hole diameter right here. And when you install your center cap, it'll go through this hole. So that's why you wanna make sure to have that center cap with the same diameter. The dimensions on the wheel, the diameter, 15 inches, the width on just the wheel, six inches wide, bolt pattern on this wheel is a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. If you wanna measure that on a wheel like this, that's an even number of lugs, it's pretty easy because the lug holes are directly across from each other. So when you measure it, all you have to do is measure from this, pick any hole, measure from the center of that hole to the center of the hole that you'd go right across from it. On this, it'll measure five and a half inches. So that means this is a six lug, five and a half inch bolt pattern. The wheel lug size this uses, is half inch by 20. Weight capacity on just the wheels, 2,860 pounds. And the tire size, which is stamped on the sidewall: ST for special trailer 225, 75, R15. The R means it is a radial tire. Section width on this tire is 8.7 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top's 28.3. And this tire is a low range E, which means it's a 10 ply-rated tire. Has a maximum load capacity of 2,830 pounds at 80 psi. And the last thing I wanna mention, is most all the new trailer tires are coming through with speed ratings on them now and they stamp that on the sidewalk with a letter designation and usually it's right, they put the size, we went over the size up here, but down here by the rim they have that size also real small. And then after it is two numbers for the load index and then the letter N, that speed rating N, will let you know that it's an 87 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on this Goodyear Endurance ST 225, 75, R15, radial trailer tire in a low range E, mounted on this 15 inch silver modular steel wheel with a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern.

The Nitrogen fill has been very helpful maintaining the desired pressure.
I feel very confident running the USA made, high speed rated tires over the "off shore" lesser products out there.
My initial thoughts based on my first run with the new tires and rims, is overall good! I like how easy it was to navigate the site and make a purchase. Shipping lead-time was fair. It was over communicated, in terms of when they shipped and when they would arrive. Which was awesome! And they arrived individually packaged. It was a great experience. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars, is because I would be saying there is no room to improve. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. Great Company!
Nice looking tired, exactly what I ordered. I tried to ordering this first from a website starting with a capital W. The picture of the tire was the tire mounted on the wheel. But they sent me just the tire. So I turned to e-trailer and they delivered to me exactly what I needed exactly how it was pictured on their website. Thank you for doing it right.
I ordered 4 of the Goodyear Endurance tires for my Coleman camper. All 4 tires arrived via UPS within 4 days of my on-line order. The tires were exactly what I ordered, with no problems. I will definitely continue to use etrailer for my camper needs and highly recommend this business.
Happy to have this tire and wheel for a 2nd spare when RVing. Only want Goodyear so this was the right purchase for me.
The tires seem to let the camper ride smoother. And it seems we're getting a little better gas mileage.
Great Spare replacement!
These are the same tires I have on my TT. The stock spare was a china bomb. I feel much better knowing If I am a long distance from home, I can depend on my spare instead of getting to the next exit. Tire Blowouts can cause a lot of damage just not worth the risk to me.
I just received the wheels and tires from etrailer. Delivered just like they promised. Got them installed on my travel trailer and have 2 trips planned in the next 3 weeks. Thank you so much for the quick turnaround on your end to get these items headed my way. They look to be great quality. I am looking forward to traveling down the road sorry free. Great customer service. I will absolutely order from etrailer again. John
Great tires, quick delivery, If you want them balanced you do it yourself.
I would buy from e-trailer again, Thank You!
We just installed these well balanced, properly inflated tires on our 2012 Keystone Outback 210RS. What a difference new shoes make!
Steve was very helpful with my order that arrived the next day.
Real quick delivery,I have 2 trailers, updated the tires on both.
Keep your tires fresh.
These tires are impressive, I just put them on, but you can tell the difference from China tires. They came in a heavy cardboard box and we’re delivered right on time.
Excellent service as always
Excellent sales service with knowledgeable staff. Order turn around was extremely fast. Highly recommend.
Very easy to order and it was shipped very quickly.

All is fine. I dont use the trailer very much, but the Nitrogen fill is amazing, still holding recommended pressure. I have two Antique Car tours this season.. one is 1600 miles round trip. The other 1650 miles, round trip. I am confident of no troubles.
