Erickson E-Track - 59131

  • E-Track Anchor
  • 1333 lbs
  • Erickson

Attaches anywhere along E track to provide a tie-down point where you need it. Push-button design makes it easy to move and secure.

Features:

  • Tie-off Ring
  • Color may vary
  • Not compatible with Snap-Loc E track Tie-Down Anchors

Specs:

  • 4,000 lbs Capacity
    • Safe Working Load Limit: 1,333 lbs
  • Ring dimensions: 1/4" thick x 1-7/8" inner diameter

Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Great for my home gym. Sturdy. Low cost. Vertically mounted the Erickson Horizontal E-Track and used the Erickson E-Track Tie Down Rings with carabiners for easy height adjustments and swapping out different bands, just like at Fluid Health & Fitness where I take classes and work with a Movement Specialist. The 1 x 4 board is screwed to a wall stud and then the E-Track is attached to the board and into the sheet rock. The Man of the House says he "over-engineered" it. ??

by:

As requested, here are some pics of my e-track installation. I find the raised e-tracks in the floor very problematic and dangerous so I made sure they were recessed. This is now an extremely versatile cargo trailer.

by:

Great customer service, and super fast shipping. Always a great experience

by:

Let me just start by saying I Love etrack! These tie off rings make loading the truck and trailers quick and easy. I even installed a couple on the side of my tailgate so i could strap down longer items when tailgate is open. (Dont forget to remove the ring when done and closing tailgate)

by:

Easy to attach and use with generic cargo straps. I have used these tie-down rings for several interstate trips hauling light cargo and motorcycles with no problems. Large ring allows easy threading of cargo straps and attachment of strap hooks.

by:

Perfect for strapping down anything in your trailer with easy tracks

Best cargo anchors. Use them a lot on both my cargo and utility trailers....Shipping costs are nominal compared to other sites....

by:

Easy in and easy out. Perfect for my constantly changing trailer needs.

by:

They have worked well for us

by:

Awesome idea! These are great to have with the E Track system!!!

by:

Just recieved my order today. Do not have the hooks installed yet but, they appear to be everything I was looking for when I ordered them. Well built and work in the tie down railings very well.
Very prompt order and delivery. Will be ordering more equipment in the future.

by:

We use them almost every day we go out to pick up donations and need to secure the items we are hauling.. They come in handy when we need to move them to another location within the trailer that we are using..

I've used these Erickson E-Track tie-off rings for many years in all my other trailers. I bought a new trailer and therefore, needed new tie-off rings. These units are the lighter version of ring available from Erickson and I've used both types to secure my ATVs. I've never had any problem with either tie-down. These units are plenty strong enough to hold any ATV, motorcycle. In fact, I've hit terrible potholes and other obstacles with my trailers over the years, that I've had ATV's pop the tie-down straps off. However, no matter how hard the jolt, I've never had one of these Erickson rings pull lose, bend, crack, or any other malfunction. In addition, they are super easy to remove, reposition, attach etc. They lock into position as soon as they are fully inserted into the E-tracks sytem.

I have a 20 ft enclosed cargo trailer that I planned to use to move from California to North Carolina. Was not sure about how to secure the load. Did some research and settled on the E Track system. Not having ever used E Track before, I found the instillation and use very simple. I installed two rows on each side the full length of the trailer. In the front I used the optional E track board holders and made a shelf 8ft by 4ft with 2 x 6's and a full sheet of plywood to secure fragile items. Two trips across the United States with very full loads and not one load shift. Great product and would highly recommend it. Thank you etrailer.com for your great service.

A year and a half later and a lot of use out of my trailer using the E Track system to secure the loads. Great produce that was easy to install and easy to use. HIGHLY recommend the E Track system.

by:

I think these E-Track tie rings will work out perfectly. In another review, I review the E-track Wood Beam Sockets and how I made a tire rack and shelves in my car trailer using the E-Track which I also bought from E-Trailer.

I'll use these E-Track tie offs to tie down the tires, and any loose items on the shelves, so that they don't bounce around which on the road. It'll be a breeze to use either some straps or rope to tie down anything I need to, and having the flexibility to position these tie downs anywhere I want on the E-track, is absolutely perfect.

I also thought that they were priced fairly and made well. Add to those qualities all the benefits of doing business with E-Trailer and it's a home run!

As I thought, these E-track tie down rings worked out perfectly. Nothing has ever fallen, bounced, or even moved pout of place when straps are used to secure the load to these E-track rings.

by:

I Installed approx 14 feet of e track Two rows long in my enclosed trailer to go under my tires for my side by side. It has worked out better than expected as I can secure things down the entire length of my trailer . The side by side is secured with wheel bonnets and does not move one inch while traveling from my place in Utah to my place in Wyoming. Love this product and highly recommend .

by:

Excellent product! I bought 2 of the 4-ft e-tracks. These are heavier duty than I thought they would be. They are extremely practical for my 10' wood floored utility trailer. If you are like me, there aren't many good tie down points on wood bottomed trailers. These are an easy fix for a host of applications. They work great for having multiple points to tie down my 4-wheeler or lawnmower. I will definitely recommend! The only better would have been free shipping.

by:

These feel a bit cheap and cheesy but they work great. I had installed E-track lengthwise (front to back) on the floor of my trailer and have a lot of need to tie loads with diagonal and/or track to track forces and these worked great for that, since they seem to be pullable in any direction without deforming. The heaviest item I fasten down is a walk behind lawn mower.

Kaas B.

7/26/2017

We still use these a lot and are still on our original ones. All other latching items we got for the e-track bent too easily but these are great.

by:

All of the products I have ordered from etrailer have been exactly what I was expecting, and they have performed flawlessly.
Thank you!

  • Tie Downs and E-Track Recommendation for Securing a BMW K1200, ATV, and Dirt Bike on a Trailer
I would recommend using 2 sections of Horizontal E-Track, # E19148, down each side and 2 sections of Horizontal E-Track down the middle of your trailer, 6 sections in all, to give you as many tie down options as possible for securing all of your different toys. Your BMW K1200 sounds like the heaviest item you will need to tie down. I recommend using 2 packages of the Retractable Ratchet Straps, # 34414, along with 4 of the E-Track Tie-Off Rings, # 59131. Four tie down points are needed...

  • How Does Etrailer Slot and Anchor Typically Install on Truck Tailgate
Sounds like you are talking about using a single E-Track slot like part # SLSB to instal the Erickson E-Track Tie Down Ring # 59131 in a tailgate application like the picture we recieved from a customer who did the same. There isn't an exact recommended way to accompolish this. It looks like the picture you referenced has a tailgate that has an internal panel that can be removed so that the customer could use nuts and bolts to hold the slot to the side of the tailgate. • Side Pull Capacity of Erickson E-Trick Tie Down Rings
According to the folks at Erickson Manufacturing, the side pull capacity of their # 59131 E-Track Tie Down Rings are 1750 lbs apiece. The safe Working Load Limit for each would be 1/3 of that which is about 580 lbs apiece. It looks like you're using 4 of the tie down rings which would have a combined capacity of 2320 lbs which is plenty for the quad you have tied down, assuming that the straps you're using have sufficient capacity.

  • Using E-Track and Accessories in a 5 x10 Enclosed Trailer to Carry a Harley or an ATV
In order to secure either a motorcycle or ATV I recommend 2 sections of E-Track # E19148 so that you can have one on either side of the motorcycle. This will be the most stable set up for the bike. The ATV really only needs to use one of the tracks to be secured using a wheel net with E-Track fittings, # 77314. For the motorcycle I recommend using at least 2 of D-ring # 59131, assist straps # 06303, and some ratchet straps such as # 34414. I have included some links to videos on these...

To carry five or six bikes in your trailer, I would recommend picking up five or six Yakima BlockHead truck bed bike mounts, # Y01117. These bike mounts can mount to the side rails or floor if you have an open utility trailer or they can mount to the walls or floor if you have an enclosed trailer. The fork mount design allows you to mount multiple style and sizes of bikes on the same mount. You could also take a different route and install a cargo control system like the E-Track, # E19148,...

The etrack sections like the part # E19148 would be more than adequate to secure your ATV. • Where to Install E-Tracks in Enclosed Trailer Carrying Polaris ATV and Motorcycles
Since you will be using your E-Track system, part # E19148, for transporting more than one type of vehicle, you will want to try to find mounting locations that will work for all of them. The main consideration for deciding where to mount the E-Tracks is to select locations that provide access to structural components, such as wall studs and floor supports. These structural elements of your trailer will serve as the backbone of your E-Track system. It is important that the tracks mount...
