Erickson E-Track - E59143

  • E-Track Anchor
  • 1200 lbs
  • Erickson

Create a tie-down point for securing a cargo strap, rope, net, or tarp by snapping this fitting into your E-track anchor or rail. Steel attachment point and polyester strap are durable.

Features:

  • Creates a tie-down point in your trailer for rope, cargo straps, net, or tarps
  • Clips easily into an E track anchor or rail (sold separately)
  • Constructed of durable steel and polyester webbing

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 6" long x 2" wide
  • D-ring dimensions: 2" wide x 1-1/2" tall
  • Maximum load (break strength): 3,500 lbs
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 1,200 lbs

Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

This E-Track (and E-Track straps) was installed on the wall of my box trailer to secure a rolling took chest. It has performed flawlessly. Thanks again etrailer, for a great product.

by:

I picked up 2 of these just for extra tie-points for our gear. Didn't really need this heavy duty. great prices and service from etrailer, fast shipping and well-packed boxes.

by:

Iam a very tidy person and everything has a place, and this product helps make that possible.

by:

good quality, well made

by:

my first time to install and use E-track and accessories and am very happy with the quality of the product. our cargo trailer is used for hauling mostly antiques and furniture we intend to use this tie off ring to connect our existing straps which do not have the required end track fittings.
the picture shows using new straps also purchased.

everything is fine tie downs have worked well

I purchased 6 of the above e-track extensions to complete my gear for my motorcycle trailer. This now allows me along with all my other gear to appropriately secure my motorcycles when transporting them across town or across country. I am very happy with this equipment. I will continue to check out entrails line of equipment and gear as needed. The complete process from ordering, paying and receiving product was painless.

Absolutely great. I still use them weekly hauling motorcycles, furniture and even a huge gun safe. They work just as designed and I’m glad I purchased 6 of them.

by:

Works well for my application.

by:

Modified this cargo trailer to haul RC airplanes(too big to fit in my pickup) and remove the upper deck to make it useful for hauling other items. This makes a truly utility cargo trailer. Numerous tie downs with Etrack is really great. I have other pics if your interested. I just purchased an enclosed car hauler and I plan on installing Etrack in it. Thanks for making great products !

by:

Decked out my new cargo trailer with this e-track. Looks sweet! Heavy gauge construction. Easy installation. Along with the Erickson E-Track straps now I'm ready to haul just about anything safely and securely. Thanks etrailer!

by:

Etrailer supplied the equipment I needed at a great price and shipped the the northwest coast with on days from when I placed the order.
All the e-track hardware and equipment was in stock and arrived packaged very well with no shipping damage.
The e-track is heavy duty, much more than I had expected and it was easy to install.
Looking forward to upgrading my trailer even more from etrailer.

Thanks again!

by:

Excellent product! I bought 2 of the 4-ft e-tracks. These are heavier duty than I thought they would be. They are extremely practical for my 10' wood floored utility trailer. If you are like me, there aren't many good tie down points on wood bottomed trailers. These are an easy fix for a host of applications. They work great for having multiple points to tie down my 4-wheeler or lawnmower. I will definitely recommend! The only better would have been free shipping.

by:

pretty sweet man put a good dip in and crack a cold one

by:

Very nice for being able to use normal store brand tie down straps with the Etrack system. Everything seems really well built and more than capable of handling its load rating.

by:

Provides flexibility in securing cargo inside trailer. Well made product. Good value.

by:

Solid construction and strong as h*ll. I use these on everything I want to tie down on any of the tracks I have in place.

by:

These track tie offs exceeded my expectations. I have use a flimsier type on the past but when we installed these yesterday into our bands trailer, replacing the old tie offs, you can immediately see the difference in quality of both the stitching of the cloth and the weight of the metal. I'm ordering more today

by:

E Trak system works great. The hooks, straps and brackets works so easy and performs great.

The only downside was the length of time for the company to obtain shipment of product and fill orders.

Great product.

by:

really helps the hard to tiedown cargo

etrack and d'rings arrived 2 days before schedule...a very welcome surprise! Products were shipped as advertised and are perfect for securing cargo. Will order again from etailer!

Has worked out well, dont foresee any issues for this part.

by:

Great quality and workmanship. Love the e-track system and all of the versatile ways it can be used. Exceptional customer service is the standard here. I will always go to etrailer.com for my trailer needs!

by:

This strap is made of quality material and is easy to install in the e-track. The strap is a must with the e-track and worked fine to secure my cargo.

by:

E-Track is very well engineered, small yet strong and works anywhere along the horizontal E Track system.

by:

With the size and close proximty of my cargo, these "extensions" allow for easier access to the ratchets on my straps. Problem solved.

  • Strap Length of the Fixed Section End on the Erickson E-Track Strap with Cam Lock Buckle # EM59151
On the Erickson E-Track Strap with Cam Lock Buckle, part # EM59151, the strap length of the fixed section end is 7 inches. I did a short video of the strap to show you how I measured it. I also have the Erickson E-Track 2 Inch D-Ring, part # E59143, that can be used with the e-track system. It is just the fixed end that snaps into the e-track and the length of the strap is 6 inches.

Adding the Erickson Horizontal E-Track - Zinc Plated Steel - 2,000 lbs - 5' Long - Qty 1 # E19148 you were looking at to the sides of your 5' x 14' utility trailer would be a great option for giving additional tie down points if you are constantly hauling loads that are different lengths. With this you can add the Erickson E-Track Tie-Off w/ D-Ring - 2" Wide x 8-1/4" Long - 1,200 lbs # E59143 where ever you need for your straps. Now if you are hauling loads that are the same size, using...

  • Mounting E-Track for Hauling Motorcycle on 8 x 5 Trailer
That's a great question. I believe your installation method for the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM59150 sounds like a great plan as long as you have the tracks facing the direction of travel. Basically the E-Track was designed around this and that is the most safe way to secure cargo. To secure your 900 lb bike you can either use the Erickson E-Track Tie-Off w/ D-Ring # E59143 with your current ratchet straps or you can update to the Erickson E-Track Strap with Ratchet # EM59136 which...

  • Best Versatile Tie-Down Options for a Cargo Trailer
I am not sure how many of the Erickson E-Track systems you have seen but it really is your best bet when it comes to versatility and functionality. Not only do they have the Horizontal E-Track, like part # E19148, but they also have Vertical E-Track like part # E19146. You could install both types of track on your cargo trailer (if it is enclosed) and then move the attachment points around by either using the Erickson E-Track Strap # EM59136 or using the Tie-Off w/ D-Ring # E59143 along...

  • Where to Install E-Tracks in Enclosed Trailer Carrying Polaris ATV and Motorcycles
Since you will be using your E-Track system, part # E19148, for transporting more than one type of vehicle, you will want to try to find mounting locations that will work for all of them. The main consideration for deciding where to mount the E-Tracks is to select locations that provide access to structural components, such as wall studs and floor supports. These structural elements of your trailer will serve as the backbone of your E-Track system. It is important that the tracks mount...

  • Backing Plate Recommendation for E-Track for Securing Track to Wood Floor Trailer
The E-Track like part # E19148 that you referenced has a capacity of 2,000 lbs so it would do well securing a 2,500 lb trailer at 4 points as each track would have 1/2 the weight. I would recommend you use backing plates below the floor of your trailer like part # e96RR since your tractor is pretty heavy and the floor of your trailer is wood. For D-Rings to install in the track you would want the part # E59143 so that you could use a ratchet strap like the # EM01314.

Installing the E-Track Trailer Cargo Control, part # EM59150, would work well to strap down your ATVs and motorcycles on your V-nose trailer. You could mount the E-Track sideways or perpendicular to the trailer frame over the floor as you described. The E-Track can also be mounted on the wall of trailers, so perhaps you could mount the track for the ATVs on the floor towards the front of the trailer. Then you could mount track on the trailer walls for the motorcycles or on the floor as...

Basically you would want to use a properly rated strap for the weight of the item and use your discretion to secure it in whatever manner works best.
