All of the Redarc products I find excellent. The controller control knob gives a factory OEM finish and the controller works the best of any I have tried.
Knock out plug on left side next to steering wheel is longer than the other knock outs. Ended up modifying the original knock out.
Parts arrived FAST and I could not be happier with the installation and final look of the brake controller. It truly looks like it was installed at the factory. I painted the embossed words on the switch panel so it would match the other switches.
The mounting panel fit perfectly into the slot, although it was recessed more than one would expect.
MUCH better fitment than the OTHER mounting panel that was labeled as "universal". Given the previous one was not universal-i ended up paying additional shipping charges on both items (adding up both items-incurring $[XX]+ in cost for a simple plastic piece was frustrating)- all due to it NOT being universal as advertised.
First great in my 2021 Tacoma switch panel. I did make the text white by dabbing paint into the lettering and wiping off the excess and it's both more readable and looks good.
Easy install on the 2022 Nissan Frontier that has the tow package. Works as intended. Love etrailer!
On the panel the works "TRAILER
BRAKE" are not highlighted.
I painted the panel white and sanded the face so the words are easier to read.
Stay away from this company. Get what you need from some place else. Their website will display the wrong item based on your vehicle’s information and they won’t do anything to help you.
This was the solution I was looking for. I didn't want to mess up my Highlander's dash with something clunky. The whole system works perfect and I couldn't be happier.
I have the Towpro Liberty and a 2018 4Runner. The specs for the switch said 2019 and above but it doesn't seem like much has changed. This trim piece fit well, but the switch itself was wide so I had to lightly dremel some of the side parts of the hole it went in, that said the trim piece has tabs at the top so it was all perfect. Looks great!
It’s a pretty simple part. Of course it works fine. Love the controller.

Still great
I bought a new Bronco Sport which does not have a factory brake controller option. I found the next best thing. a Redarc Tow-Pro Elite. I did not want the traditional box hanging under the dash as there is a knee air bag there. This unit can be mounted anywhere and in any position, with just a tiny knob to control it. I put the knob in a blank area in the headlight switch. Looks like it was factory installed! I took it for a test drive and it works perfectly, nice smooth proportional braking.
I am very careful with anything for my Taco. I had to install a brake controller to tow a double axle trailer with electric brakes. The Redarc Elite was not only easy to install it exceeded my expectations in its operation. Above all the control switch for it looks as good as a factory install. Nice job.

Very poor quality finish and weak piece. You have to be super delicate with it in order to be able to install it.
Perfect fit in our 2020 Toyota 4Runner. Saved me from drilling out an exiting switch blank, so if I were ever to remove the controller to sell the truck it could easily be returned to stock.
Oddly, the trim bezel that comes with the TowPro Elite to go behind the control knob won't fit properly, as the knob can't be depressed when it's in place. No matter, as it's not needed anyway and looks fine without it.

Still pleased with how this switch fits and integrates into our 4Runners instrument panel. I wasnt certain that using the far left side blank would prove convenient rather than the partially hidden one to the right of the steering column thats closer to hand, but it has proven to be a good, readily accessible place for the control knob. Also loving the RedArc TP Elite controller. Strongly recommend it. Note that while the application list shows 2009-2012 4Runner for this mounting panel, it fits perfectly in our 2020, and should therefore fit MY2010-2022 models, since they use the same switches and blanks.
Fits nice, looks like factory installed.

I wanted to follow up and thank you for your help! I was able to install the Redarc brake controller with no problem! Thanks for your assistance and recommendations.
One note...There are not a lot of late model Land Cruisers on the road. Toyota only sells about 3-4,000 a year so finding videos and guides for installation is a bit of a challenge. I found some FAQ's on etrailer.com but the information seemed inaccurate or at least not very helpful.
I know the LC comes with a two package and is prewired but it takes some doing to locate it. I remember directions and I found some install help on another site and that helped.
In any event, I appreciate your help. I have attached a photo of the installed Redarc!
