All right today, we're going to show you part number 5443. This is the license holder. Now our licence plate holder, is designed to work with instances where your front mount hitch actually goes into place where your licence is. Some vehicles licence plate can be ran down towards the bottom of the bumper, but in certain cases you just have nowhere else to go with it, so this is why we have this part. Pretty simple, it's a plate that holds your licence plate. It has all the hardware needed to attach your licence plate to it. This just basically goes into your front mount hitch when you don't have any other accessories in it.
We'll into some of the features. First off it has stainless steel bolts, then plated nuts and washers. These are nylon lock nuts. Licence plate holder its self is powder coated and if you flip it over and take a look at the part that goes inside the front mount hitch, we have 2 holes for adjustment, which uses a 5/8 inch hitch pin or a locking pin. Let's go ahead and put a licence plate on there and try it out. We actually have a loop of tape on here to help hold it in place for us while we put on our hardware.
Bolt, flat washer, and then a lock nut. Now its a good idea to actually have a flat washer on an oval here too, but we're not working with something that's really structural, so I think we'll be okay. The tools we need to tighten down the hardware will be a 1/2 inch socket and a wrench. Go ahead and put in our front mount hitch, and let's go ahead and line it up with our holes. We'll go ahead and try to run it all the way in if we can, if not we have an extra set of holes. Put your favorite locking pin in place, we're good to go. That'll finish it for part number 5443.

The initial shipment took longer than was expected and was missing some parts and damaged license plate relocator. the company quickly sent me replacements. Overall satisfied and would recommend this product just need to do a little better job with the shipping part of the order.

I needed a way to mount a slow moving vehicle sign on my golf cart and this product was as describe and worked perfect for my application.
Product is a combination of not being over or under built.
Car Wash kept tearing the front license plate from my 2022 Ram. This holder fits into my snow plow mount, and tucks just under the bumper enough to prevent the rotating brushes of the car wash from gripping the license plate.
Much heavier construction than I was expecting -- that's good. Hole slots aren't far enough apart (vertically) for my Calif license plate. That's not good. (C'mon guys, how hard would it be to research every state's plates and make the hole patterns match, based on the purchaser's address?)
Made of heavy steel plate so it should hold up to use well. The problem I had with it is the slots for bolting the license plate on don't line up. I don't know if it's an issue with Oregon plates only or if others are affected as well. I used the top two slots to attach the plate and could have drilled the other two holes out to make them work. I decided not to do that as it is heavy plate and would have taken awhile with a hand drill. A drill press would work better for drilling out the holes. The license plate is fairly well secured with only two bolts holding it.
Very sturdy bracket, easy to install. Nice touch of nylon insert locknuts (plus nuts and fender washers) for attaching the license plate to the bracket.
I bought this to use with my hitch and swing out spare tire holder for my 4Runner. This ended up working out very well for me when I added a light to display my license plate. I used it the entire time I had my spare tire holder. I ended up selling the swing out spare tire holder and also gave this item to the person who bought it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for put their license plate. I would buy this item again if I decided to buy another spare tire holder.
Not overbuilt, not flimsy, but just right! Been missing my front license plate for awhile. Before "the Man" takes notice, I figured I'd better do something about it. Other companies had 30 lbs behemoths, others had ones made of plastic. This one is perfect. It should be able to handle a few oopsies without the vehicle being eligible for reclassment of being up-armored. If you're already looking for a receiver hitch license plate holder, you know what to look for and this is it. Go for it!
Great product. I removed my license plate holder on my wrangler and my spare tire. Where the spare tire was I have a delete plate with design so I put my license plate on the etrailer hitch with a lock on it which works out great.
Great license plate bracket. The included hardware is sturdy. The four plate-mount holes didn’t really line up perfect, but they were close enough. I do wish the hitch portion was justified to the top/bottom of the plate, so that it didn’t hang so low.
As always, etrailer had what I needed, in stock, at competitive prices, with fast shipping and great communication. Really couldn’t ask for any more from them.
Great way to cover your hitch. Looks good. My plate was welded a little crooked to inserts but was able to put in a vice and straighten it.
The items I purchased seem top quality and arrived at my home within days of my order. Shipping was a little expansive, but my item did have a little weight to it.
Nice look, fit, and finish. Heavy duty, thick gauge and NOT Cheap. Recommend a low cost hitch pin accompany this product; otherwise, there is nothing that will hold this bracket in place.
Built like a battering ram! Required some minor adjustment for my states license plate but works perfectly and is rock solid!
The provided bolts are too large to fit through the mounting plate.

This is my second purchase for this license plate receiver. It is exceptionally well built and will last a very long time.

Product has met all expectations and it has traveled to Nebraska as well as Key West, FL.
Did exactly what I wanted. Since a front plate is required for this truck. My only wish was it didn’t stick out quite as far as it does, but it’s not to bad.
