  • Fully welded, heavy-duty frame and handles
  • Double gusseted between winch mount and receiver tube
  • Fits any 2" x 2" receiver
  • Used for truck winches up to 12.5K with standard 10" x 4.5" bolt pattern

The bracket looks nice and well built the only unfortunate thing is the box arrived torn up and some hardware missing looked as if it were a return that had been sent back and uninspected and left in disarray hard time feeling warm and fuzzy about it since it was supposed to be new

I'll admit, the price was a big factor.....you get what you pay for. Two of the four holes to mount the winch were off by more than an inch, so i had to drill new ones. The wiring harness was no better. The quick disconnect had intermittent electrical connectivity....had to modify it. Manufacturer was little help, they offered to drill the holes but that required shipping the mount 3500 miles at my expense. They made no offer to compensate me. They did mail a new quick disconnect. The mount works well but i had to work for it as well as pay for it!

This worked out good as I used it for the Truck and can move it to my Bob Cat / Car Trailer , I fabled up receivers and move it from one to the other in just a few minutes very handy Then I just store it in the garage, we mounted everything on brackets and made a plate to mount onto it as well so all in one .

Well made, strong, I really like that it's a one piece unit and that's why I spent the extra money..
There were other models much cheaper that are bolt together which I don't recommend...

  • Recommended Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2021 Ford F-250
For your 2021 Ford F-250 I recommend the EcoHitch Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7904 as it installs in the front bumper opening even with the tow hooks as you can see in the included picture, where the other hitches available install underneath the front air dam. This means the EcoHitch will not take away any ground clearance where the other options will. The EcoHitch has a 10000lb line pull rating and 1000lb vertical load limit making it a perfect choice for adding a winch...

  • Will Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65061 Fit a 2010 Ford F-150 Platinum Super Crew
The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 65061, will fit a 2010 Ford F-150 Platinum edition Super Crew. There is some cutting required on the plastic air dam to allow the hitch to fit properly. I have included a link to the installation instructions that shows the area that needs to be trimmed. This hitch would work great from mounting a winch. It has a tongue weight capacity of 500 pounds or the front gross axle weight rating, which ever is lower. It also has a 9,000 pound...

The Superwinch part # SW1475200 you referenced doesn't come with a mounting plate designed for attaching to an enclosed trailer floor but we can help with that. You could use a hitch tube and have it welded to the the trailer frame or crossmember near the front like part # E-9. With a piece like this welded to the frame, you could use the Winch Plate # BDW20011 mount to attach your winch. You'll need to pull up a portion of the floor to access where you'll attach it. If you can tell me what Year your GMC Sierra 1500 is I would be happy to recommend a front mount trailer hitch receiver for you. I am happy to help you get your truck out of the mud. • Winch Recommendation to Pull a 2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty Out of Mud
I strongly recommend getting the highest capacity winch possible to pull your 2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty out of mud. I would not rely on a 1,500 or 3,000 lb winch to pull your truck out of mud. Keep in mind that when your truck is stuck and you want to use a winch to pull it out, you are pulling the weight of the truck plus the weight of the mud and any additional force against the truck that is created by the mud. All of the front mounted hitches that we carry for your truck have a 9,000...

  • Compatibility of Winch Mounted to Class I Hitch Receiver and Decline Slope
I'm with you on your calculations although I'm not a trig expert. The issue is there is nothing that has been tested with a winch on a class I hitch. The Bulldog Winch Hitch Mounted Winch Mounting Plate # BDW20011 is only a fit on 2 inch hitch receivers and there isn't a mount for the smaller 1-1/4 inch receiver. So, then you would need to use a hitch expander like # HTAD that would reduce the tongue weight rating of your hitch by 50% and add more weight as well. So the adapter at 7...

I've attached a picture with the dimensions on the Bulldog Winch Hitch Mounted Winch Plate # BDW20011 but since the mounting cradle is only 8-5/16" wide (8.31") your Warn winch is going to be just a bit too large for this cradle. Since Warn winches are traditionally a bit larger than Bulldogs, I'd recommend using a winch plate like the Curt Electric Winch Mount Plate # C31010. This is also a hitch mounted...

The Bulldog Winch Hitch Mounted Winch Mounting Plate with Handles - 2" x 2" Hitch # BDW20011 has bolt holes that are 10" by 4-1/2" on center and 6-1/2" by 4-1/2" on center which is a very common measurement. • Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver Plate and Wiring for a Warn VR8 Winch
I checked with Warn and the mounting hole spacing for the VR8 winch is 10 inches side to side and 4-1/2 inches front to back with the overall length of the winch at 20.7 inches and 6.3 inches front to back. Based on that you can use Curt mount # C31010. At most your winch can draw up to 457 amps and a 650 cold cranking amp minimum battery is recommended. Based on these figures I would go with wiring and quick disconnect kit # BDW20207 which was designed for up to 16.5K Superwinch winches.
