Today we're going to take a look at the Titan zinc-plated solenoid shield for the Titan model 60 trailer-brake actuators. This is a nice corrosion-resistant cover that'll bolt on to the rear of your Titan model 60 actuator, to protect the electric reverse lockout valve. The zinc plating will help resist corrosion. Just to show you where this will attach, I happened to pull a Titan model 60 actuator. You can see this one already has the solenoid valve attached to it. Basically you can see it ...
now this one I've added to it, it didn't come with the solenoid vale, but I just added it. You want to protect it so nobody steps on it or breaks it. All you have to do is remove the 2 screws right here, and then remove this cover that comes on the actuator. Then this solenoid shield, basically what you will do is you will need to remove the 2 screws up on the top here. Just bolt those 2 on there, then you just bend it down till those 2 screws line up. Once you have that, that'll give you protection of the solenoid valve so it doesn't get damaged.
It's well worth adding this onto if you have a solenoid valve at the back of your actuator. That should do it for the review on the Titan zinc-plated solenoid shield for the Titan model 60 brake actuators.

The part is a bit shorter then I expected. So, I have add and do some modifications with the old shield
No issues with etrailer!!! This cover needs to be longer to cover the potential of a longer tube having to be installed to the existing trrailer brake line.
Exactly what I needed. I changed my brakes from drum to disk with a Dexter kit from ETrailer. I also had to buy a reverse lockout solenoid so the brakes would not try to lock up when I back up. This part allowed me to cover the solenoid and basically converted my actuator to disk brake actuator once I changed the master cylinder. It was much cheaper to convert mine then by a complete new unit.
It worked fine.
With much advice from etrailer, I completely rebuilt my boat trailer brake system. I mean completely, starting with a Titan actuator, then new brake lines, and finally , new disc brakes on the rear axle. etrailer is the best. If you have a question, call them!!! They will find the right answer .

Perfect
The Solenoid Shield was a perfect fit for my Titan 60 hitch conversion. This combined with the solenoid actuator and 6' cable with 7 way connector resulted in a clean upgrade to my trailer brake system. No more issues with brake lockup backing up an incline.

This is the third time I have used etrailer for parts. They have delivered on time(or earlier) every order. They're reps have also been excellent in helping with tech questions. The parts have worked exactly as advertised. I will not hesitate to use them again when the need arises.
This is a must for adding the lockout valve as it protects the valve. It fit perfectly. You do need to make the bend at the top
But a 4 in vice made it easy.
I converted my master cylinder by adding a back up valve. The cover fit as it was advertised
This product was not specifically designed for my coupler but I made it work. I wasn't sure what series I had so I ordered wrong cover shield.
All three products meet my expectations and the service I received when ordering them and having them shipped was excellent. Keep up the good work.

It looks good but it is too small for my trailer so I will have to make some adaptation to the trailer

Had to add another plate to protect the oil line from being hit/bent when getting on and off the boat. Part of the reason is that the new brake master cylinder was longer and I had to add a new line that required a large bend radius to get it to fit with the current brake line from the trailer.
