Titan Surge Brake Actuating Coupler to Replace Atwood Coupler

Question:

Im looking to replace my atwood surge brake model #85091 with the Titan T4339720. Are the brake line fittings the same? If I purchase the titan T43329007K can I add the T4748800 electric reverse lockout solenoid?

Helpful Expert Reply:

The Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator - Drum - Multi-Fit Ball - Bolt On - 7K # T43397007K is a great option for the Atwood coupler replacement. This does not include the electric lockout solenoid # T4748800. The brake line fittings will be the same.

The Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - 2" Ball - Zinc Plated - 7,500 lbs # 099-175-00 is also a great replacement option, and you can add the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts # T4748800 to this actuator as well. I recommend also getting the Solenoid Shield # T4835800183 if you add that solenoid to protect it.
