Today, we're going to review Part# 5973. This is the Draw-Tite 2-5/16" diameter Remov-a-Ball Gooseneck Hitch Ball. Now this part is a replacement Gooseneck Ball for the Remov-a-Ball Gooseneck trailer hitches made by Draw-Tite and Reese. Basically those gooseneck hitches would allow you to drop this ball into place and then a pin would go through the hole right in here to lock it into place. Then when you pull the handle, remove the pin, you can remove it from the hitch itself. This is the replacement ball. The ball diameter up here is 2-5/16". more

It's going to have a gross towing weight of 12,000 pounds. You're going to have the 2 5/16th inch diameter ball, this is going to work with couplers that have a 2 5/6ths socket size. The shank diameter is this portion here, it's going to measure an inch and a quarter. If we take a measurement of the shank length, measuring from the bottom of the platform to the end of the threaded portion, that's going to measure 2 3/4 of an inch. more

Curt Hitch Ball - Trailer Hitch Ball - C40007 Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at part number C40007. This is the Curt Chrome Hitch Ball with 2 5/16ths inch diameter, steel construction with a chrome finish, so it's going to offer protection from rust and corrosion. It's also going to feature the wrench flats here on the side of the platform. It's going to allow you to easily get your wrench on there and tighten to the mount and you can easily get it torqued to specifications listed by the manufacturer. The torque rating for this particular mount is indicated in the instructional tag here on the backside. It says that it needs to be tightened to 250 foot pounds of torque. The capacity on the ball is going to be 10,000 pounds. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at Part Number A-6, this is the CURT two and five-sixteenth inch trailer hitch ball. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. This hitch ball is going to give us a shank diameter of an inch and a quarter, it's going to give us a shank length measuring from the bottom of the platform to the end of the threads of two and five-eighths of an inch. This is designed to fit draw bar thicknesses of a half inch to one inch thick. The hitch ball is going to offer a capacity of ten thousand pounds. It's made from a solid steel construction with a nice chrome finish on it, so it is going to stand up really well against rusting and corrosion. Here on the sides of the platform, it's going to have the flats, these are just your wench flats, makes for an easier installation, you can get your wrench around there for a nice, adequate grip. more

Today we're going to review part number C60601. This is the Curt Pop-In OE Gooseneck Ball for factory Ford and Ram underbed gooseneck hitches. This hitch ball is designed to be used on the OEM factory-installed underbed gooseneck hitches. It fits the 2011 and newer Ford Super Duty gooseneck hitches and the 2014 and newer Ram gooseneck hitches. This pop-in ball will fit securely in the hitch. It's easy to insert and remove. Basically, the way you would do it is there's a lever right here at the top, if you just pull up on that lever and then just turn it 90 degrees it would release this ball-bearing system right here and as you can see, they would go into the gooseneck ball. more

Draw-Tite Hitch Ball - Trailer Hitch Ball - 19257 Review- Video
Today, we'll be reviewing part number 19257. This is the Tow Ready Hitch Ball with the 1-7/8-inch ball diameter, has a medium shank, and it's rated at 2000 pounds. The diameter of our shank is going to measure 3/4 inch, so in selecting a ball mount, you need to make sure that it has a ball hole diameter of at least 3/4 inch. Our shank length is going to measure 2-3/8 inches, and this is designed to fit drawbar thicknesses of 3/8 inch to 1-1/4 inches, and our hitch ball has a capacity of 2000 pounds. Now, it has a really nice chrome-plated finish, so it's going to stand up well against corrosion and rust, and it also provides wrench flats on each side of the ball at the base. That way, we can securely grip it and torque it down to the specifications from the manufacturer. The way this would work is you would take your hitch ball, place it onto the ball mount, put the lock washer on, and then, you would thread on your nut. Then, all you would need to do is torque it down to the specifications listed by the manufacturer. That's going to complete today's review of part number 19257. B and W Hitch Ball - Gooseneck Hitch Ball - BWGNXA2005 Review- Video
Today we're going to review part number, BWGNXA2005, this is the B and W replacement hitch ball for the B and W turnoverball on their gooseneck hitch, part number BWGNRK1309. The ball diameter on this is 2-5/6ths, it has a weight capacity of 30,000 pounds. This replacement hitch ball is only designed to fit on the B and W turnoverball gooseneck trailer hitch, part number BWGNRK1309, and that part number is designed for the Dodge Ram 1500 truck, starting in 2009. The reason this one will only work on that hitch is because the size of the shank, from the center of the locking pin hole to the center of the base is shorter than the standard size hitch ball that comes on all the other turnoverball gooseneck hitches. This is a square ball base, as you can see here, prevents the ball turning in the base during hook-up. It is made of a sturdy steel construction, it is made in USA. I do want to give you that dimension, so that if you're trying to match it, from the bottom of this square base, to the center of that locking pin hole, is 1 inches. This is called a turnoverball because basically you would drop the square base into the gooseneck hitch and then you would tow with this gooseneck ball, when you're done towing, you can unlock it. more

B and W Hitch Ball - Gooseneck Hitch Ball - BWGNXA2000 Review- Video
Today we're going to review part number BWGNXA2000. This is the BMW replacement hitch ball for the BMW turnover ball underbed gooseneck hitches. This hitch ball is a 2-5/16 diameter ball, has a weight capacity of 30,000 pounds, and the solid machine hitch ball is a direct replacement for the 2-5/16 ball that came standard with your BMW turnover ball gooseneck hitch. Now this is the standard hitch ball. It comes with the majority of them except for two part numbers, and I'm going to give you those part numbers. The first one is the BWGNRK1257. That's a BMW turnover ball underbed gooseneck hitch designed for Toyota Tundras. It does use a ball that has a shorter distance from the bottom to the locking pin hole. The other one this will not work on is the BWGNRK1309. That's the turnover ball underbed gooseneck hitch for th Dodge Ram 1500 starting in 2009. Those two turnoverball gooseneck hitches use different hitch balls than this will fit pretty much all your other ones. This is the one used in most all the other ones, and I do want to give you the measurement on this one just so in case you need to measure the one you have to match it up. If you'll measure from the bottom up to the center of that locking pin hole you'll notice it's 2 inches. This is a square ball base as you can see here which prevents the ball from turning in the hitch during hookup. more

Today, well be installing the Reese Gooseneck Hitch Ball with 2-5/16 diameter and a 5-inch offset, Part Number 19308.To install the new Gooseneck ball, well simply go ahead and pull the handle and unlock the ball or Gooseneck head. Then we can go ahead and remove the older manufacturers ball. Now, well go ahead and install the new Reese Gooseneck ball with the 5-inch offset. Well line up the grue in the offset with the nipple and the gooseneck head.We can then go ahead and drop it into place. Well now go ahead and lock into position with the handle from the gooseneck head. Now, its locked into place, you can see its not going anywhere.Now, with our new gooseneck ball in place, itll give us an additional five inches of extra room between the gooseneck trailer and the back of your cab for those times we need a little extra space between the cab of the truck and the gooseneck trailer.The new Reese Gooseneck Ball is good for 20,000 pounds of gross trailer weight and 5,000 pounds of towing weight.There you have it for the new Reese Gooseneck Ball with 2-5/16 diameter and a 5-inch offset, Part Number 19308.. more

Today were to review part number 900B. This is the Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set. This ball set will come with a chrome, one-inch diameter long shank, comes with a three hitch balls, a 1 7/8-inch which is usually marked right on the top, the two-inch which should be marked there and the largest 2 5/16. This does have a 10,000 pound gross towing rate capacity. It is corrosion and rust-resistant and what this does is it makes changing out your Convert-A-Ball hitch balls with another ball size very easy; you just pop out the pin like that pin there and you replace it with any ball size that youre going to be towing. Its comes with the two hitch balls, one is 1 7/8 inch which is marked right on top and the other is a 2 inch which is also marked on top of the hitch ball. It comes with the nut which is use as a 1 1/8 inch wrench and washer and that is used to attached the shank to your ball mount and it also comes with a cotter pin that will actually slide through after you get it tight into where you want it and the cotter pin would be installed to keep the nut from coming off.
