Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at "etrailer". And today, we're taking a look and installing the Tekonsha seven-pole trailer wiring on a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. If you ever plan on towing a trailer with your vehicle, it's essential to pick up trailer wiring. And that way, you can plug into the trailer and mimic the light sequence on your vehicle to the trailer, keeping you safe and legal. And sometimes your four-pole will get you by, but on larger trailers, sometimes you have a seven-pole connection and it's nice to have that seven-pole because you can also get a 12-volt outlet from it as well as the ability to run a brake controller, so that's why we have our seven-pole installed on our Pathfinder today. Overall, the installation is pretty easy on this. more

Start off our installation, we're gonna have to first remove this access panel right here, 'cause this is where our hitch is going to be sitting. For those of you planning on pulling a fifth wheel trailer like our neighbor here today or even a gooseneck, having a a seven-way wiring connector in the bed is definitely gonna be beneficial. You know, it's the right way to do things. That way when you're hooked up to your trailer you take that connector, plug it right into the seven-way and you're good to go you know you're not gonna have to deal with draping it over your tailgate, plugging it in down there at the bumper and then you know, risk scratching your paint up or whatever or potentially it coming disconnected or putting, you know a strain on that wire or anything like that. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Tekonsha T-One Trailer Wiring Harness which is gonna be a 4-pole on a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. Now if you are planning on towing any trailer with your Pathfinder you are gonna need to pick up some 4-pole wiring and that's gonna allow you to send your running lights, your brake lights, and turn signals to the lights on the trailer, keeping you safe and legal. But also a lot of accessories these days as far as bike racks or cargo carriers will also take a 4-pole if they do have LED wiring on them. So it's a good option to have installed on your vehicle and this one is super easy to get installed. It's plug and play, there's no splicing and you have everything you need in your kit to get this wired up. Pretty simple, you're gonna be plugging in to an interior plug that's gonna match to your new harness. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing Curt four-pole trailer wiring, that's vehicle-specific, for our 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK. Having four-pole wiring is essential if you plan on pulling a trailer as it's gonna give you your light functions. That way, when you have your running lights on, your turn signals or brake lights, it's gonna shoot that signal back to the lights on your trailer, keeping you safe and legal and letting everyone behind you know what you're intending to do. Now, as far as mounting up your four-pole, you can actually just use the dust cap that's included and clip this around the safety chain loop and it's gonna keep it nice and protected and clean until you're ready to use it. Other options, we have plenty of brackets available here that's gonna allow you to properly mount that up. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing Tekonsha T1 Trailer wiring harness on a 2022 Mazda CX-30. If you plan on towing a trailer or if you have accessories with lights on them, having a four pole wiring is going to allow you to have your light signals, including your running lights, your brake lights and turn signals transfer to the trailer or accessories letting the people behind you know what you're doing and it's gonna keep you safe and legal. Now this is a pretty easy way to get wiring in because it snaps into factory connections of your taillights and just kind of jumpers in. Now with that, you are gonna need to run a power wire up to the battery and that's kind of where it gets a little bit tricky of just going underneath the car to run it. But overall, the installation is fairly easy and the great part about this is even though you're plugging into your factory wiring, it's module protected, so if you ever have a back feed from your trailer, it's not gonna fry any of the lights on your OEM harness. So that's really nice, you get a little piece of mind there and there's also a fuse to keep it protected as well. more

This 7-Way just simply plugs into the factory connector as you have a tow package on your vehicle. So, this is a good option, that way, you can adjust those trailer brakes, and use 'em while towing. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the curt four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. Now four-pole wiring is gonna be essential if you plan on towing a trailer and a lot of accessories these days will have lights on them that you're gonna get those lighting functions from your four-pole. And this just simply goes back into a module where those wires tie off and plug in directly to your taillights. So that way there's really no cutting or splicing that's required when plugging in. Now you are gonna have to run a power wire up to the front to get that 12 volt power supply but really that's not too terribly bad. It comes with all the butt connectors to be able to do that and it's minimal. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2022 Honda Accord- Video
Hey guys, Kevin at etrailer. It's family showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Connector four pole wiring harness here on our 2022 Honda Accord. A four pole wiring harness is one of the main components whenever you're trying to tow a trailer, a bike rack that has lights on it or a cargo carrier that's gonna have lights on it because that's what's going to allow you to transfer your running lights, your turn signals and your brake lights from your vehicle over to the trailer, so you can remain street legal. This particular wiring harness is powered by a ModuLite and what that means is that it's going to properly transfer the separate wiring signals that you have on your vehicle to the combined wiring that's gonna be on your trailer. And that basically means that it's gonna just transfer that separate braking and turning signals into one wire and properly do that for the trailer so that you remain legal and so that everybody can understand exactly what you're trying to do when you're going down the road. Typically, most four pole wiring harnesses are going to pull power from your tail lights. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Curt four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2019 Nissan Rogue. We're gonna have our four-pole living just kinda tucked over here or you can even put it in your storage compartment, so it's out of sight until you're ready to tow. And then all you'll need to do is drape this over this weather stripping here. Just make sure you don't have it right where the latch is and it's perfectly fine for this to close down on it as it's not gonna damage the wiring. Hi there, Chevy owners. Today in your 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha's 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, what vehicle wiring harness. This is not gonna be the traditional way that you install it, but we did mount it here at the back of the vehicle. Got our little tester that we had plugged into it there. And it's mounted to brackets that do not come included with the kit, but you can purchase these brackets here at etrailer if you wanted to make it look just like ours here. This harness is actually designed to stay inside of your vehicle though here in the trunk area, so that way you just pull up your rear compartment and drape it over the back and then you just shut your trunk and that'll pinch it between the weather stripping. more

But, before we get to that, why don't we check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. Whenever you are hooked up to your trailer, whether it be a gooseneck or a 5th wheel, you're gonna need a way to power up all the lights and everything on it, right So you take your connector plug and you got a couple of options. One of 'em` being, you can drape it over your tailgate and plug it down into your bumper connector. Which does it work, sure. more
