Class V Trailer Hitch Recommendation For 1973 Chevrolet C/K Pickup
Question:
I have a 1973 Chevy 1 Ton Dually. I was wondering if the 1975 Dually driver did in fact install this model hitch receiver and if so , were there any problems. Thanks for your help.

The B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # BWHDRH25122, is verified to be a fit if your 1973 Chevrolet C/K Pickup has an 8 foot bed and a standard bumper. This hitch is a Class V hitch and has a 2 inch receiver opening. We have not received any feedback from customers about the hitch not fitting.
For a ball mount I recommend part # BWBMHD30010. This mount features a 1 inch rise and 2 inch drop and measures 8-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole.
For a 2 inch hitch ball I recommend part # A-90, and if you need a 2-5/16 inch ball I recommend part # 63836.
If a 4-way trailer connector is needed I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118311. This plugs directly into your truck wiring along the frame rail, and requires no splicing or cutting of the wires for installation.
If you are planning on using the hitch to carry any accessories you can check out the attached links I have provided for some of the items that may work for you.
