Roof Rack and Ski Carrying Options for 2014 Jeep Cherokee with Bare Roof

I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee with no factory installed roof rails. I was looking for options for a ski rack. Are there any options available for this?

Apparently, your Cherokee is a bit of an odd duck. The 2014 Cherokee usually left the factory with at least the side rails that run front to back along the edge of the roof to provide an attachment point for crossbars.

Luckily, one of our roof rack vendors, Rhino-Rack comes stampeding to the rescue, with a rack option that's compatible with your Cherokee. To install a rack on your Cherokee, you'll need the following parts:

Vehicle specific clamp kit, part # DK398
Aero style crossbars, part # RRVA137B-2
Roof rack leg kit, part # RRRLKVA

With the rack in place, you can install a ski rack like part # RR572 that can carry two pairs of skis or a snowboard or # RR574, which can carry 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards. These carriers are all manufactured by Rhino-Rack, so they'll fit the crossbars perfectly.
