Replacement Multi-Function Lights Recommendation For Trailer
Question:
My trailer had Bargman Lights On one unit it was marked 30-91-010 and 30-91-011 SAE-A LRST-88 with both 1156 and 1157 bulbs. The trailer wires it was attached to were green two greens together, white, and red. The other unit was a Reflect-O-Matic marked 910-950 SAE-AILRST-73 DOT and it had been wired to were green, brown and white. Will the Optronics RVST55 and RVST55 work in their replacement? If they are the right fit, what are the part numbers for Bargman if I choose to buy them. Also, does the RVST56 have a white lens to illuminate the license plate? Could you also help me with understanding my wiring scheme mentioned above Thanks and keep up the great business!

If the lights you want to replace are stop, turn, tail light, and back up lights, then part # 30-92-004 and part # 30-92-002 would work for you. I have attached a drawing that shows the dimensions of the two lights mentioned above. These lights measure 8-9/16 inches x 4-9/16 inches x 2-1/8 inches. The mounting holes measure 7 inches center to center.
Part # 30-92-004 does have a clear lens that illuminates the license plate. These lights are considered weather and corrosion resistant but are not waterproof.
As far as the wiring on your trailer, I have also attached a helpful article that explains trailer wiring.
The Optronics part you mentioned has been discontinued.
