Is There a Factory Preset Amount of Tension the Curt Sway Control has to Start With

Question:

My 17200 Curt sway control came with the tension bolt loose in the box. How do I put it back to the factory preset condition? I bought my hitch from Etrailer and my brother gave me the sway control. I have 2015 Nissan Frontier SV 4 cylinder king cab.

There really isn't a preset amount of tension that would have to be used as a starting point for setting up the # 17200. What I would do is install it on your trailer and then get it moderately tight by hand. No need to really torque it, and then take it for a test drive and adjust as needed.
