Availability of Trailer Hitch for 2014 Audi A4 Allroad
Question:
Hitch for 2014 Audi A4 Allroad?
asked by: Jim H
Expert Reply:
Curt Manufacturing offers a hitch for the 2014 Audi A4 Allroad, part # C11195. The # C11186 you mentioned is for sedan models, and wouldn't fit your vehicle.
If you'll be using the hitch as an attachment point for a bike rack or cargo carrier, the Curt hitch warranty requires the use of a stabilizing strap, # 18050 for all non-trailer loads.
If you'll be towing the recommended ball mount is part # C45521. For a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use part # C40001 or # C40018 for a 2 inch ball. For a pin and clip use # F-4. You'd need to see your Audi dealer about a trailer wiring harness.
