Is Lippert FlexAir Pin Box Better Than Their Tri-Glide

Question:

I am wondering just how good the New Flex Air pin Box is which is a combination to the Trailair Air Ride and the Rota Flex pivoting head pin boxes when compared to the tri glide air ride? My equipment is a 2013 Ford F-350 Crew Cab, 4 wheel drive, 6.7 power stroke engine. 5th wheel is a 320 rs Columbus made by Palomino, the pin box on it is a Lippert 1621 18,000 lbs. The 5th wheel is 36foot 9inch long The 5th wheel hitch is a BandW Companion slider. Ford tells me the box is a 6 foot 9 inch long. I am new at this and could use your help as it looks like no one on the web wants to commit to tell which replacement pin box is the best. If I can not fine a really good replacement for this fixed Lippert 1621 pin box because of the chucking or back and forth movement I will sell this 5th wheel and just forget about snow birding the winters down south. I will take my losses and chuck it up to a learning experiences . Hope you can help!

I spoke to my Lippert representative who tells me that the ride quality provided by the FlexAir Pin box will be superior to that of their Tri-Glide, which worked very well. We do carry the FlexAir that's a replacement for the Lippert 1621, the part number would be # LC328492.

You have a quality hitch, once you add an air ride pin box, you'll be surprised by how much your ride improves.
