Can Older Tekonsha Brake Controller Be Used On 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

I hsve a old mever usrd tekonsha 2035mk-24 brake controller. Will that work on my 2010 Chevy 1500 that is pre wired. Thanks.

I was unable to find the numbers you referenced, but I believe you may have an older Tekonsha Voyager brake Controller, part # 39510. This proportional brake controller can be used on trailers with electric only brakes, with up to 4 axles.
The answer is yes it can be used on you 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I have attached an installation video that shows a brake controller and how it is wired on a 2010 Silverado you can check out.
You said it is pre-wired. Since there is no brake controller harness under the dash you will need to find the wires and actually hard-wire the Tekonsha wire adapter to the harness that is shown in the attached video and also in the helpful article that explains how to install a brake controller.
