Question:

Hi, my brother gave me a entry grab handle, am-200, but their was no screws or instructions. All I need to know is what size screws do I need, and what size drill to pre drill hole. I am putting it on our 2005 Rockwood M2602 travel trailer. Can you help? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Stromberg Carlson and the Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle for RVs, # AM-200, uses #14 x 2 inch screws. In order to mount the handrail you will want to drill 1/8 inch pilot holes making sure that you are drilling into a solid surface. They also recommend dabbing a small amount of caulk in the pilot holes before mounting the handle. This will help to keep water out.
