Question:

I have an ezloader trailer for an 18.5 ft Skeeter bass boat. The carpet on the fenders have started to erode away. Is this something you carry or would I have to make it? Thanks

We offer both carpet that you can use to replace your worn carpet on your bunks for your trailer, and we also carry replacement carpeted bunks for your trailer.

The carpeted bunks we offer come in varied lengths. If you need 6 ft bunks, I recommend part # CE27840. These come in a set of 2, and is wrapped with marine-grade black carpeting.

For 5 ft bunks, you would need part # CE27820, for 4 ft bunks, part # CE27810, and for 3 ft bunks you would need part # CE27800.

If you decide you would like to wrap your old bunks with new carpet yourself, you can order just the marine-grade carpet. I have attached a link to our product page that lists the marine-grade carpet we have available. We offer various colors and sizes so you would just need to select the size and color you want and use the product number for ordering.

An example is part # CE11349. This black carpet measures 18 ft long and 18 inches wide. You could wrap a couple of 2 x 8 x 8 boards with this carpet.

If you need to install new bolsters for your bunks, I recommend part # CE10000G-4 for 9 inch and part # CE10002G-4, for the 13 inch. These are galvanized steel bolsters with swivel brackets.

For U-bolt hardware to mount the bolsters, I recommend part # CE15283GA-2. These U-bolts come with washers and nuts and are made of galvanized steed. These measure 3-1/16 inches wide, and 3-13/16 inches long, and come with 2 in a package.

For 4 U-bolts, you can order part # CE15283GA-4.

You may be interested in replacing your carpeted bunks altogether and installing roller bunks like the Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunk, part # DL21741. These have a 3,000 lb weight capacity and are in 5 ft sections. For 4 ft roller bunks you would need part # DL21740.

The brackets needed for the roller bunks is part # DL21742, which are sold individually.
