Will Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller part # TK90160 Pulse with Hazards of a 2006 Toyota Tacoma

Does the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller TK90160 provide Hazard flasher immunity to prevent pulsing of the brakes when flashers are activated?

You would not have to worry about the Tekonsha Primus IQ brake controller part # TK90160 from activating intermittently when your hazard lights are on. Your hazard lights would not backfeed onto the brake pedal circuit and activate the controller. The only time this is an issue is on much older trucks and some dump trucks.

In those situations all that is required to prevent the problem is a Pulse Preventer part # 5501.
