This easy-to-use, 2-part mixing system forms a safe, deep-penetrating vapor of chlorine dioxide to attack and permanently knock out unwanted smells at the source, leaving no film or residue behind. While chlorine dioxide is a safe and eco-friendly compound that doesn't produce any of the harmful byproducts that chlorine can create in other formulations, it's still important to safely and carefully handle all chemicals wearing safety glasses (PT89FR) and gloves (D04-0108) sold separately. 1. Place the Odor1 launcher cup on a flat surface (avoid placing directly on carpeted areas).
2. Using the small plastic cup, add 2 ounces of lukewarm water to the Part 1 bottle and gently shake.
3. Pour contents from Part 1 bottle directly into the launcher cup.
4. Repeat the previous steps with the Part 2 bottle.
Once the 2-part mixing system is combined, close all windows and doors and let the odor elimination process begin! Let it sit for at least 3 hours (recommended to leave overnight for stronger, deep-set odors).

Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer.com. And today, we are looking at our Odor1 Auto Refresh Premium, which is our odor eliminator kit. And this freshens up your car, your truck, or your van. So, if you want to eliminate odor at the source, this is a pretty good option to go with. So this kit comes with some items. So you have a 2-step cleaning process, so you have a part 1 and a part 2 bottle.
You also have a cup which you'll be using for this whole process and a measuring cup, as well as a lid or our stock cap. It also comes with some directions, all in this nice little box. The way this works is that this is a fast-acting solution. So you mix 2 parts together and it releases a deep penetrating gas that works on like your fabric or your hard-to-reach places in order to eliminate the odor at the source. So it's not a deodorizer that masks smells, but it eliminates them.
This uses chlorine dioxide. So although it does say chlorine, it's not the same as chlorine bleach. It's a lot safer and it's a lot more like hydrogen peroxide, which uses oxidation to clean. It clings to your water molecules. So if you had mold and mildew, that's what it sticks to and it eliminates the odor there.
So that means it dissipates to saltwater at the end and you're not playing with harmful chemicals. One thing to know is to make sure you have the proper protective equipment on. Like I use a mask and gloves, that's because this reacts instantly, so be ready to vacate the car the moment you start the process. First, choose the spot where you're gonna place your cup and then sit down right there. Then you're gonna start the process with your solutions.
So we will start with part 1. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take two ounces of water, and I'm going to pour it into part 1 and shake it up a little bit. After shaking up part 1, you can then pour it into the cup and then you go to part 2. So now we're gonna pour 2 ounces of water into part 2, and this will instantly react. So shake it really quick, then pour it into the cup. Okay, we're gonna leave this here for 3 hours and then come back and see how it smells. You can also leave this overnight, however long you want to leave it. But I like to do is run the AC a little bit afterwards though, just to make sure it ventilates through the whole system but that is up to you. So it's been about 3 hours. I opened the door and you can smell that there's a slight chlorine smell in the air. Nothing too harsh, nothing too pungent a lot better than the stale mustiness that used to be in this car. Also, there is no residue left in the vehicle. All our fabric looks good no bleaching, no staining, no residue. I can just leave it there and it'll revert to saltwater. Also about 30 minutes ago, I ran the air conditioning. So that's pretty fresh too. My final thoughts about this product is I like how it's a complete kit that created that penetrating vapor that reach all the hard-to-reach places that I can't clean as well. So it is pretty strong at first, make sure that you are protected throughout the whole process but after 3 hours you are done. And if you want to maintain that freshness you can pick up Odor1 Storeaze and that you can keep inside your car as you drive around. Treats 1 vehicle.This concoction definitely changed the smell in my car but unfortunately the rodent smell returned after a few days. The horrible smell was generated this time by one of them dying somewhere in the far reaches of my dashboard. I have since bought an ozone machine to try and neutralize the bad odors. Again this works initially but there is still an undercurrent of stink after a few days. The good news about the ozone machine is that I can use it repeatedly as needed as opposed to this one time treatment. I have used this odor eliminator kit in the past with better results but the offending odor wasn’t as bad as this last go round.

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately I have no garage so my car is an oasis for these jerks. It’s been going on for years and with various episodes of birth , death and big time partying. I’ve tried everything including peppermint, various repellents, high frequencies , lights etc. so now I’m basically murdering them with traps. We screened in the air intakes …it’s a Toyota and the intakes were so open and accessible that I had a rat move in and give birth in my fan mechanism. I’m ready to set the car on fire. ?? Anyway I have used your product twice and like I said it worked great my first use but now with this second ruinous episode the smell returns after the treatment so I thought I’d try that ozone machine. It works for a time also.

Finally got rid of the odor in my truck
I have been trying to get this awful highly perfumed smell out of my used vehicle for months since I bought it. The detailers must have just set off a perfume bomb in the thing and then let it set, completely closed up, in 90 degree heat for weeks. I tried vinegar, ozone machines, and odor eating solutions for months. I gave up and figured I would I try Odor1 as a last ditch effort. Gadzooks!!!! It worked. Nary a smell of perfume in the vehicle. I highly....highly recommend this product for what I was confronting. I could have saved a lot of time and cash if I had tried this right out of the chute. Thank you for carrying this product.

After 1 year this product is GREAT!!! No scent at all of the over perfumed cabin in my vehicle. I would use this product in a heartbeat in anything else I own.
A snake had gotten into an inaccessible part of the car behind the AC and had died. Not only could we not remove the carcass, it essentially blew in filled every nook and cranny of the interior with dead snake smell. Multiple cleanings and detailing could not entirely eliminate the odor nor did it get any better after many many months, long after any physical part of the snake could have existed. I purchased this odor eliminator kit, used it and it got rid of the smell -- it's a simple as that. One year later the smell is still gone. The instructions were clear and I was able to follow them and get the results. Thank you for coming up with this product!

Holy cow, this should definitely help with the smell. But it sounds like you may have a rodent problem. I know my sister has the same issue while living out in the country. One thing that she mentioned using was peppermint oil on the inside and outside of the garage and under the hood of her car. Or you could always use a rodent repellent, which you should be able to find at your local store. Let me know how it goes.
