Can the U-Bolts of the U-Bolt Kit # APUBR-1 be Cut 1/2 inch Shorter
Question:
I need these to be 1/2 inch shorter for my application, as the axle is mounted under the springs and the excess thread length sticking up on these bolts risks contacting the trailer frame under full compression. It is a Trailex trailer, which originally came with 5 inch long bolts, but I cannot find 5 inch bolts anywhere including Trailex. Can you cut these shorter at your shop and send to me, or is that not something you do?

We can't cut the U-bolts of the U-Bolt Kit # APUBR-1 1/2 inch shorter. But you certainly can if you have a grinder or know someone who does. It would be pretty easy to do, especially if you have a cutting wheel.
