You can use a backup camera on a trailer if you wanted to. What I recommend is the 2 camera system, # SH03D. It comes with an additional antenna to ensure the best reception for long distances. This system will only work if you turn the camera(s) on. It does not operate using the running light circuit or reverse light circuit.

The manual emergency crank for the etrailer.com Electric Jack #EJ-3527-BBX (which is included) requires a 3/8" socket for operation. I have attached a short video review on this jack that you can check out as well.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
