Comparing TrailAir and TrailAir Tri-Glide Replacement Pin Boxes for 5th Wheel Trailers

Question:

I want to get a trail air for my 5th wheel, I have a 2013 Silverback by cedar creek 339 foot gvwr is13,755 and I pull it with a 2011 Chevy Silverado 3/4 ton z71 4x4 with a 6 1/2 foot bed. You have a older version of the trail air and a new updated version wondering witch one will work best for me. Thank you

Lippert makes the TrailAir and TrailAir Tri-Glide replacement pin boxes but they have both been around for about the same amount of time. The difference is that the Tri-Glide models have 3 steel rods which act as rollers, letting the bottom jaw glide forward and back during towing. This helps further reduce chucking. Because of this I recommend a Tri-Glide model.

To determine if there is one that will fit your trailer I will need to know the manufacturer and model number of pin box itself. This information should be on a sticker or plate on the pin box.
