Difference Between # 118265 and # 118558 Trialer Wiring Harnesses for 2014 Honda Pilot
Question:
If I understand correctly the difference in # 118265 and #118558 is only the 7 way connector vs the 4 way connector? The wiring harness is the same between the two as far as connecting up and include both relays and fuse? everything I have is 4 way. Pilot is tow equipped but no wiring on the EX-L model.

Because the 7-way offers 3 different circuits that the 4-pole unit doesn't (reverse lamp, brake controller output and 12-volt accessory voltage), the wiring harnesses of the two are indeed different.
Since all your existing equipment uses a 4 pole, I'd recommend using the # 118558. If at some time in the future you decide to tow something that uses a 7-way connector, you can always upgrade using an adapter like # 37185.
