How To Pick Out a Transmission Cooler for a 2008 Ford F-150
Question:
Have a 2008 f-150 super crew pulling a +/- 4500lbs travel trailer Just want to make sure that this size transmission cooler will be enough or should i go a size bigger? And do i need an adapter fitting? If so, what is the part number for it Thanks

If you can fit a bigger transmission cooler than the part # D13502 then I would recommend you do that. Realistically, you can't go too big when it comes to transmission coolers. The biggest one you can fit will be your best option.
The part # D13502 measures 11" Wide x 7-1/4" tall x 7/8" deep. If that's the biggest you can fit then I'd go with this one. Otherwise I'd look into a bigger one like the part # D13504 that measures 11" Wide x 12" tall x 7/8" deep. I attached an install video for you to check out.
The Derale Radiator Adapter fitting part # D13025 is recommended for your vehicle so that you don't have to cut or flare any metal lines.
I attached an FAQ on transmission coolers for you to check out as well.
