Firestone offers a kit for a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer 2WD, part # F4108. The air springs fit inside the coil springs and can be inflated or deflated depending on load. I have provided a link below to the instructions that come with the kit and walk through the installation.
You would jack the Trailblazer until all the weight is off the rear axle and the rear suspension is fully extended. From here you can put the Air Helper Springs inside the coil springs. If more room is needed, the shock absorbers can be disconnected gain another 1-2 inches. The fittings are installed and the air spring is maneuvered into position and associated hardware is installed. You then connect air lines and re-connect shocks if needed. Lower the vehicle and air the springs according to load.
