Does Trailer Hitch Lock # 5200 Fit Reese Eclipse Bike Rack # 63124

Question:

Hello, Im looking at the Reese Eclipse four bike hitch rack for 2 inch hitch. In the description, it recommends that I add on the 5200 hitch lock. The description for the 5200 lock says that its for 1 1/4 hitch. Is this the correct product? If not, could you provide the correct product number? Thanks!

Good question. There is a tech tip at the bottom of the description for bike rack # 63124 about this very issue: This bike carrier comes with an anti-rattle hitch bolt that does not lock. To lock this bike carrier to your trailer hitch, you can use the padlock end from hitch lock # 5200 (sold separately) with the included hitch bolt. The padlock will secure to the end of the hitch bolt to create an anti-rattle hitch lock that fits 2" trailer hitches.

So in other words you would use the lock part of # 5200 and not the pin. I have linked a video review of the bike rack for you.
