Ball Mount Sway Control Plate Recommendation for a 1-1/4 inch Ball Mount
Question:
Is it more important to match the drawbar size or the class? I have an 1 1/4 drawbar and a class 3 hitch. So... please tell me which hitch plate assembly to choose. I have a 2010 Ford Escape and pop up camper that probably weighs 2700 fully loaded.

Unless you have something seriously strange a Class III hitch will have a 2 inch opening. That being said if you have a 1-1/4 inch hitch then you need a 1-1/4 inch ball mount plate part # RP26005
I also attached a couple FAQ articles on hitch classifications and sizes for you to check out.
