Will a B&W 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Fit a 2006 Ford F-350 with Firestone Air Bags 2400

Question:

BWRVK3500-5W BWRVK3500-5W BandW Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs BWGNRK1108-5W BWGNRK1108-5W Custom Underbed Installation Kit for BandW Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches I am considering this hitch Ford F350 4X4 4 Door 2006 I also use riderite air bags. The bolt on kit it also uses the 3/4 inch bolt to hold the upper bracket on the bags The bracket for the bags is on the inside of the frame. It looks like the install kit will work I just wanted to get your thoughts. Also is this the right hitch for this application I also have a slide in camper I use as well that is why I dont want anything in the bed when the hitch is removed The fifth wheel is 14,000 lbs loaded with a 1900 lb pin weight.

Since the B&W installation kit # BWGNRK1108-5W also uses a 3/4 inch bolt in the center hole that Firestone Ride-Rite kit # F2400 uses, and because the hitch brackets mount to the outsides of the frame and the air bag brackets on the insides of the frame, these 2 components will work together.

Installation kit # BWGNRK1108-5W is correct for a 2006 Ford F-350 long bed or short bed. Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W is the correct hitch for a long bed. For a short bed use # BWRVK3400-5W.

Once the hitch is removed the bed will be open and your slide-in camper will fit just fine. The weight of the trailer will not be a problem for the B&W hitch! I have linked videos showing installation of the hitch and the Firestone air bags.
