Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2006 Saturn Vue
Question:
I am thinking of buying a hitch towing kit for my 2006 Saturn Vue and I was looking on your website and you have two, one with red line and one without red line. What is the difference between both? Thanks

The difference is that the 2006 Saturn Vue Red Line models require noticeable rear fascia trimming when installing a trailer hitch. The Red Line models also have a lower suspension.
For either model I recommend a Class III trailer hitch like the Curt hitch, # 13591, because it has a higher capacity and the 2 inch receiver is compatible with more accessories. I have included a video of this hitch being installed on a similar vehicle.
To complete your towing package I recommend Ball Mount Kit for 2 inch Hitches # 989900. You will also need trailer wiring installed on the vehicle to connect to your trailer. I recommend T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118418. I have included a video of this wiring harness being installed on a 2006 Saturn Vue.
I have also included several helpful links on towing a trailer for you to check out.
