Roof Rack And Cargo Basket Recommendation For 2002 Honda Accord 2-Door

hello there imvery interested to Buy a roof rack for my honda accord 2002 2 door it seems that my option is Numbers: SR1002, SR1116 and also need a roof basket is the Curt Roof Cargo Carrier - C18115 compatible? if so what else do i need to put it on mi car? please reply thank you

We do carry a few roof racks that are designed to fit your 2002 Honda Accord 2-door. The SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack, is a fit and has a crossbar spread of 23-1/2 inches. To order this rack you need to order 2 part numbers, part # SR1002, and part # SR1116.

The Curt Roof Cargo Carrier, part # C18115 requires a crossbar spread of 15, 22, or 29 inches. Unfortunately, all of the roof racks we carry have crossbar spreads that would not work with the Curt Carrier, but I do may have a solution.

I recommend the SportRack Cargo Basket, part # SR9035. This basket measures 44 long x 39-1/8 wide x 6-1/4 tall, and has universal mounting hardware that will fit square, round, and most factory crossbars. This basket also includes a fairing which will reduce wind drag. This cargo basket weighs approximately 24 lbs.

I also recommend a cargo net for the roof basket like part # SR0033. This net measures 40 X 36 and helps keep your gear secure in the basket when traveling.

You will want to check your owner's manual or with your dealership to make sure you do not exceed your vehicle roof weight capacity.
