Installing Curt # 55571 Trailer Wiring Harness on 2014 Nissan Murano
Question:
The wiring harness installation was very easy. However, when it was time to replace, install, the fuse the diagram was not helpful. The fuse was different and the diagram far different than the one shown. I have not changed the fuse yet. Is it totally necessary to change the fuse from the 30 to 10? Please advise ASAP.

I spoke with my contact at Curt, and apparently Nissan changed the fuse box for the 2014 model Murano. I was told that they are in the process of updating the instructions to reflect the change.
It is necessary to change the existing 30 amp fuse in the 'T/Tow Lamp' position with the 10 amp fuse included with the trailer wiring harness.
