Spare Tire Recommendation for Carrying a ST225/75R15 Wheel and Tire
Question:
I have a ST225/75 R15 6 bolt tire/wheel that I want to mount on my boat trailer as a spare. Is this product heavy duty enough to hold the weight of the tire as a side mount? I have heard some horror stories about some of the spare tire brackets snapping off in transit and the tire and wheel are not only potentially lost but could be a dangerous weapon bouncing down a highway. Is this durable enough? Thank you.

Your ST225/75 R15 wheel and tire combo is well below the size and weight limit for the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FHDSTC0101 so it should work well without you having to worry about it failing.
