Installation of Hopkins 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector Based on Wire Function vs. Color
Question:
H20042 WHAT COLOR wire will i need to connect to the reverse lights? I look at the instructions and there is no mention of the reverse wire.

The 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector - 3' Long # H20042 has different wiring colors than other connectors. The color that will connect to the reverse light function is the yellow wire of this molded connector. They label it Aux as some people choose not to use the reverse light function and add a second 12V power instead. You just want to make sure functions match on either end of the connectors. The Hopkins connectors are different than the standard colors, so you will want to make sure you use the attached photo for the conversion as color matching could cause problems.
