Trailer Hitch for 2014 Honda CRV EXL That Does Not Require Trimming of Plastic Fascia

I have a 2014 Honda CRV EXL. Looking for a hitch that does not require cutting a hole in the plastic cover piece on the bottom of the frame similar to the OEM version of the hitch. Do you carry anything like that? Thanks

Three different classes of hitch are available for your 2014 CR-V, light-duty 1-1/4-inch Class I, 1-1/4-inch Class II and 2-inch Class III. All of these aftermarket hitches offered for your 2014 Honda CR-V EXL will require some degree of trimming/cutting of the under-body panels. The link provided will let you see all options. I suggest you opt for a 2-inch Class III hitch since this will give you the highest tongue weight capacity and will potentially offer the greatest safety margin. I suggest the Draw-Tite # 75742 for its higher 525-lb tongue weight rating. An install video is provided.

With this Class III hitch in place you can use etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4 and plug-and-play wiring harness # 118561 from TowReady (video included) to tow up to the CR-V's maximum rating of 1500-lbs. Do check your owner's manual to confirm the towing capacity of your particular CR-V.
