Difference Between Hidden Hitch # 87719 and Curt # 13389 Class III Hitch on 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan
Question:
What is the difference between the Draw-Tite Class III 75305 and the Curt Class III 13389? I have a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with stow and go seats. I will be using this receiver hitch for a 4 bike rack. Is one hitch sit higher off the ground? I am concerned about hitting the ground with bumps etc. Thanks

The differences between the Hidden Hitch Class III Hitch, # 87719, and the Curt Class III Hitch, # 13389, are very minimal.
The Draw-Tite Hitch, # 75305, is going to sit approximately 11-3/4 inches from the top of the receiver to the ground.
The Curt Hitch, # 13389, is going to sit approximately 12-1/4 inches from the top of the receiver to the ground. The benefit to this hitch is that it installs in about half of the time as the other.
If you are in need of a 4 bike rack, I recommend going with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE, # HR1400Z. This rack has a shank rise of 7 inches for added ground clearance and works with bikes that have a wheelbase up to 60 inches and a tire width up to 3 inches. The tilting design of the rack makes it easier to load the bikes and gives access to the rear cargo area.
If you will be carrying any kid's bikes, we offer the Wheel Hoop Adapters, # HRSW-ADP-2. These will allow you to carry bikes with 16 or 18 inch wheels on your Sport Rider Rack, # HR1400Z.
