Is the Extension Cable Required to Install a Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera on a 2000 Ford Truck
Question:
I have a 2000 ford super duty crew cab do I need an extension wire or is it already long enough?

Most likely you will not need the Extension Cable for Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera # HM3100504061 for your 2000 Ford Super Duty Crew Cab since the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System # HM50002 that you referenced has a cable that is that is 19 foot, 7 inches.
We've installed this camera system on crew cab trucks and we did not have to use the extension cable.
I attached review videos for both of these installs for you to check out.
