Is it Required to Use all 6 Bolts to Install the Draw Tite Hitch part # 75120
Question:
I have a draw hitch for a 2003 toyota sienna that requires 6 mounting bolts, 4 are from the existing tow brackets, and then 2 would require drilling holes. I dont want to drill holes, and was wondering because some of the class 3 hitches only require the 4 exisiting holes to mount would it be safe to not use the extra 2 that would require me to drill holes? I would use new bolts and lock washers when installing. It just seems to me that why would it be safe to have some class 3 hitches mount with 4 and some require 6 they are rated for the same weights???

It sounds like you have the Draw Tite Hitch part # 75120 for your 2003 Toyota Sienna. I can only recommend that you install this hitch per the manufacturer recommendations by using all 6 of the installation points. Otherwise the warranty would be voided.
If you need trailer wiring you would want the Hopkins Harness part # 43475.
For a ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip, I would recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit, part # EBMK4. This is a kit which includes 2 ball mounts, a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, and a hitch pin and clip.
